Question, I started playing this a little bit ago and what I want to know is before I continue the season, has the season point bug been fixed? I'm not sure if this has been answered yet.

No, the season bug fix was discovered in April 2023, but this ROM was last updated in 2022.

For the time being:

If you're using an emulator, you should be able to apply the GameGenie codes.

Or you can use a Hex Editor and make the changes manually. (i.e. do what I do in the video between 2m00s-2m45s)

Technically this isn't an update as much as a standalone ROM. This is also just a SEGA Genesis version of the game.

This is amazing in itself.  But is there anyway to expand the season mode to get all 32 teams in there?  If so that would be the ultimate.  I’m sure you’re trying or have tried and it’s impossible.

KingRaph was making progress on that but it's stalled at the season mode stuff

Stalled as in gave up trying.  Or stalled as in its not possible at all.   I wish I was smart enough to do stuff like this.  Like this feels so close but yet so far.

I never really gave the season expansion a try.  I'm not sure if it's possible or not.  Season mode, you start getting into the RAM and saved RAM (SRAM) areas.  You'd have to map all of that out to see if there's room to expand teams, schedules, results, standings, etc.  I imagine so since I don't think that kind of data takes up as much space as graphics for example, but really the whole RAM areas were unexplored territory for me.

Thats fair enough.  I wouldn't know anything about this but I understand a bit about the whole RAM thing.  I just know that be dream hack to expand the season mode.  But I'd imagine its been really difficult since it hasn't happened yet.   I won't hold out hope for it then.  Was just curious.   Thanks

I did not. But some teams will be tougher than others.
