  1. Game 1: Winnipeg takes it on the road, 7-4. Teemu makes a statement to the Hart Trophy voters with 5 goals.

Game 2: Winnipeg seizes home ice advantage with a 5-3 victory. Steen scores the game winner with 38 seconds left, and Zhamnov adds another tally late.

Game 3: Yzerman leads Detroit to a 6-4 triumph. Winnipeg has no answer for the future Hall of Famer's 4 goals.

Game 4: Detroit sends the Jets fans home incensed again, crushing Winnipeg 8-1. Essensa is pulled after giving up goal #6.

Game 5: Steen responds to the embarrassment in game 4 by playing like his ass is on fire. He scores 2 in the first minute, getting the Jets on track for an 11-2 win. Steen and Zhamnov each score four goals, and Teemu gets a hat trick. Olausson gets 4 assists.

Game 6: The Jets finally get the first home victory of the series, sending the Red Wings to the golf course in a very close 3-2 overtime win. The Jets are cruising along until there's one second left in the second. Zhamnov, Steen AND Selanne all end up in the box at the same time. They sit there laughing and joking as Mike Eagles does a hell of a job holding off the Red Wings. Yzerman finally scores towards the end of the 2:03 power play to make it 2-1. Then another goal late ties it at 2. The Jets get a power play on an Yzerman penalty and try their hardest to put the game away, but can't. All of a sudden Federov takes off down the wing, slides one to Dallas Drake for a one-timer, Drake puts it right over the left shoulder of Essensa...and the buzzer sounds, saving the Jets. The Jets don't take this miracle for granted, as Zhamnov wins the faceoff to start overtime, swoops in and scores on Cheveldae 8 seconds into the third, a power play goal.

  2. When you go to change lines you press a button to change lines and a different button to flip the puck out of the zone, but it never bothers us since we never play with line changes on. It's a pain in the ass otherwise though, icing the puck everytime Fogarty is at a 0 energy (after a 7 second shift) and you need to get Ulf back in there to kneecap somebody. If only we would've kept Paul "Hot" Coffey...
