Sharks starting to find groove

Two weeks ago was an ugly time for the San Jose sharks organization after taking two beat downs from the St. Louis Blues.

"The Blues didnt have to step on the ice to beat us those two nights, we beat ourselves up and down the rink,it was an ugly thing to watch. The blues played well and they converted their chances, but when we looked at the game tape we saw a lot of stuff we did to beat ourselves," muttered a frustrated Angryjay.

But after the beatdowns at the hand of the Blues, the sharks took the christmas break off and decdied to stay away from the rink completly.

"we just needed some time to get away from hockey, its a rough league and we just needed to step back and realize that there is more to life out there than just hockey," said Ray Bourque.

In the last few days the Sharks have played their first two games after the break and although they looked very rusty and struggling at times, they were able to pull off a pair of big wins against conference rivals Anahiem and Calgary.

"We played a pair of good teams and we squeaked out a few lucky victories. We have a lot of rust on us right now, were just playing with the basic fundamentals and so far its working out, eventually were gonna have to get sharper, but for now were happy with our efforts and our results," said the Captain, Pierre Turgeon.
