angryjay93
Philly had the higher seed in their conference, but San Jose had more points in the season, so who gets the extra game on home ice?
angryjay93
It looks like ill be answering my own question here. In the 2000 Stanley Cup the 4th seeded New Jersey Devils faced off against the 2nd seeded Dallas Stars. Dallas had 102 points and New Jersey had 103, thus it mirrors the current situation in our league. New Jersey ended up reciving home ice as they would have been the home team for game 7 had the series gone that far. So there i go answering my own question, a job well done i must say Angryjay.
