And that's that for Montreal. Frankly, it's kind of a miracle that I made it this far, beating the mighty Blackhawks and Carse in 7 games and then pushing VC and the only slightly less mighty Sabres to 7 games. Montreal just couldn't compete with Buffalo's checking (and checking absorption) power, and VC makes you feel like you're playing a man down all the time. Also, his goalkeeper control is excellent.
