    Thanks for vouching for me EA, i hope that Wags can stop posting derogatory remarks in this forum about me and my accomplishments.

    EA is someone who understands the game better than most, i'm glad that he took the time to clear this up for all of us to understand.

    BTW Wags, i took the Gens C cup legitamitely. Jrod and the rest of the coaches on this site will vouch for that. Ur the only one that thinks im a cheater...

    That being said, it doesnt say much about your skill but more importantly your attitude.

    If you are going to call someone out, do your homework and actually know what ur talking about.

    Thanks very much to everyone, I enjoyed the season, and more importantly met alot of really classy guys.

    Great series Jrod, u played like a true champion, this thing could have went either way. You are a great player, and more importantly a good sport.

    This season and these playoffs meant the world to me. I am glad to have been able to accomplish what i have, and i will relish the memories forever.

    Congrats to Jrod and to his accomplishments this season and playoffs. U played like seasoned vet and just fell short. You'll get em next year.

    Thanks again to all those who have offered there advise and time.

    A special mention to Eric Anthony for all his help and tips and all those beatings i took...lol. It really helped my game to learn from the best.

    Also thanks to AJ,takeurpill666 and Kgman and all the others who put up with my questions and late night game requests. You guys are the real champs.

    In response to AJ's comments, I am well aware of the weight bug, and it is definatly something that every coach has taken into concideration when choosing which players start the game.

    Just recently i had a conference final series(GENS C), against a very skilled Mylec coach. He decided to sacrifice more skilled players such as sundin or kemensky, replacing them with Kovalenko. I did not accuse Mylec of cheating because its not cheating to select a player based on his weight. Its actually sound tactical planning. Kovalenko caused alot of serious issues for my team, but i had to find a way to win, and i did. Kudos to Mylec for using his brain.

    I did not file any complaints etc..Every coach does it, and i dont understand why im being scrutinized for doing something everyone does.

    Thanks to AJ for explaining the situation, hopefully we can move on, and have fun with this league.

    Wags lot fair and square and has accused me of using some kinda weight hack. All his accusations are false. Truthfully Wags is not at the same level as I, and its sad to see that he has turned to accusations to try to get points.

    I feel he should be banned from the league, I am no cheater.

    There are many guys that i have played that will vouch for that.

    I am a standup, honest coach.

    Firstly I take great offence to these false accusations. I have no idea what the weight hack is. All i know is that i dominated our game and i played the same players i use against every coach. I have players that are light like anyone else. I think Wags needs to learn more about the game, before he make false accusations about me cheating. I hope that everyone can understand that his claims are false, and that i am no cheater. I am well known in this community, and i treat everyone with respect. The last thing i would do is cheat anyone. I'm sure there are tons of guys out there that will vouch for me.

    U need to grow up Wags and take a loss like a grown man. Also if there is some kind of weight hack thingy guys are using, I hope no one has used it on me, cause in reality you are only cheating yourself.

    When i checked the ol' school website, our one game wasnt posted on the standings, and it was on the forum for almost 2 weeks. Then Michael posted it twice by accident. I am well aware we only played one game..

    Sorry if it got confused..

  17. Hockey News Finals Analysis (gens C)

    Excellent analysis once again. The guys are coming of a great comeback against a very tough Quebec team. They showed a lot of heart and the depth and experience really showed in those later games. The flames are coming off a well earned series victory, against a very strong Canucks team. The flames have proven playoff performers and are very capable of winning the ultimate prize. Should be a very exciting series.

    Ideas For New Season/tourny

    I like any of those ideas Another GDL would be awesome.

    I love the classic ROM, so maybe a spring tourney, with no penaltys.

    Just an idea, penaltys take away from the game i think. As a player you cant really control how many u take, cause the decision is normally random lol.

    You can be tripping and causeing interference and take no pens. Or you can try to be less aggressive and have 3 guys in the box. I think 5 on 5 all the time would make for a more clear depiction of skill.
