Ok. Now I have edited the numbers and lineups for "Big Seven". I used some other forums for the possible lineups.
Zubov is deleted, Semin had a little boost and Nabokov got re-spelled.
I fixed the weight bug and applied the sprite/tape-patch.
I also equalized the Home/Visitor/PP/PK advantages with EARE.
And edited some jersey colors, for example Finlands "Retro-shirt"
Anything else?
Latvia, Switzerland, Norway, Germany and Belarus are still in beta-level...
If someone wants to edit something on this rom, be my guest!

Yep the lines are wacked cause it is "Shareware". If you want, you can always help me and post here the lines you think.
p.s. I can boost Semin if you really think so...But always remember the Overall aint the thing

Normally if there's 2 same numbers, the more important guy gets his number
Yes of course, but I want to make it right. For example Malkin has had numbers 71, 17, 18 and 11 in Team Russia.

I have been making this more now and Slapshot67 is helping me, thanks.
I am almost finished, but I Can´t find the real shirt numbers for players. Only found FIN,CAN,USA and SWE. Anyone some help?

I believe TruePensFan was in the process of completing the rom you're looking for, but he's been AWOL and MIA since the past summer and I haven't heard anything from him. Fearing the worst, I don't think we'll be able to see the rom unless someone steps up and starts from scratch.

Nope. I mean that the game is still NHL94 Gens, but the rosters are fixed as they really were in 1994. For Example no John Vanbiesbrouck in both NYR and FLO.

I remember that someday I found ROM something called "Real NHL94" or something. There was real lineups for every team(specially for the New ones) and no double players like Bawa and Vanbiesbrouck. So was it like with the NHL95 rosters?
Was it for GENS? cant find it anywhere?

Done some more work.
All the real 12 teams (United States, Canada, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belarus , Switzerland ,Germany,Latvia,Norway) and players are updated.
Other teams in this rom are mostly from Torino 2006 Olympic Roster, dont know how to delete teams, I know how to limit but then I dont know how to change the order (i think it is impossible).
With the "smaller" countires there is some mistakes with the player likeness and ratings, also the chosen shirt-numbers are not confirmed with all the teams.
If someone is keen on helping or wants to continue this, be my guest!

Do you have any plans regarding this ROM?
Not excatly, but if there is interest to tournament for example, why not?
There is only 6 good teams FIN,CZE,RUS,CAN,USA and SWE. Don´t think anyone wants other teams.
I have played couple of tournaments with this ROM earlier, these 6 teams were quite even.

Canada Cup 94.
National teams with all the best players from original 94-game with the original skills.
For example: USA: Barrasso-Leetch-Chelios-Roenick-Lafontaine-Hull
Of course there is some players from outside of NHL like Trefilov, Forsberg, Larionov, Briza and Ketterer. -

What is your opinion? I haven´t find out which is the best Emulator for the best and smoothest gameplay experiense. I normally use Kega Fusion or Gens. But I got to say the game ain´t the same as with the real Megadrive. I have tried almost everything. Sometimes i feel that if I use my Emulators with my older computers, the FPS gets smoother and better. My system is Windows XP SP3. The problem is not bad, but it is there.
Or is there some trick?
I installed Genesis-BIOS to my Emulator (Kega) and it helped a bit.

Anyways, I love SM-Liiga and flipped out when I saw it on the downloads page of the site, but the link is broken. Anyone know where I can get that rom? Thanks, I look forward to joining one of these online leagues in the near future!
I have been looking for that rom also. I remember it when i had it, but i lost it somehow. Does anyone have a clue for the SM-liiga roms?

I need help!
I have used Fusion emulator before on Online games, mut now i am trying to get some with Gens.
We have a huge problem with controls.
Example: Me and my friend have set the keys before the game, entered the server and started the game. When the game begins, I control both of the players. And my friend can only watch that....WTF?
After i leave the game, my friend controls them both? What goes wrong?
I have tried diffrent versions of the Gens and its the same problem everytime...
I NEED HELP.

little update to this ROM. Lineups etc are ready. But only original 6 teams (CAN,USA,CZE,RUS,SWE&FIN). I am not very good at using Tile Layer Pro, I don´t know how to attract a bigger picture (to startup menus and intros for example)

There was not very many Europeans in NHL in 94, but I have made the needed players to Sweden and Finland for example. Players outside NHL are not so good as the NHL fellows.

I working on this specially to get better tournaments arranged with some friends. Online tournaments would also be Great!

Is that possible to delete teams from the ROM? There is still teams from the Olympic06 ROM, I only need 6 Teamslots.

Yes it is possible, but I personally found this "flag-thing" better.
This morning I edited the rest of the Teams, All the numbers and weights. (There could be some mistakes with handnesses of players). I found the Official rosters from nhl.com.
But I think that my work is done now. The Olympics starts in 2 days and Im gone for this weekend. So I post my final version of this, but if someone is interested in editing this more, It is possible, just let me know.
The Final Olympic Rom is in the first post.
