Sorry guys, I've been working a lot the past few days and I haven't been able to play. My next available day is Tuesday evening.

All of these wallpapers are pretty cool, the Ron Barr wallpaper in particular.

[Which defensemen do you score goals with the most?]

In this game, there are quite a few defensemen I use to score goals, most notably Paul Coffey and Al McInnis.

[Does anyone use their backup goalies occasionally?]

This is just out of curiosity, if so who are your favorite backup goalies?

Personally, I've had good luck with Darren Puppa and Vincent Riendeau in the past.

[sound vs. no sound?]

I can't imagine playing the game without sound. The experience would be a bit dull without the sound of the puck hitting the post, the checking, and pretty much every other sound in the game.

[Losing to the computer?]

It has been quite a few years since I lost to the computer, I probably couldn't live with myself if I did.

[What a sad day when NHL95 came out.]

This game was a complete disaster. The game was just too fast and scoring was way too easy. The only thing the game had going for it was season mode. It would have been better if EA retained 94's gameplay and combined it with the season mode.

I know exactly how you feel. I have been trying to contact some of the people on the league to play a game. It seems that Gens A is more eager to start judging by the number of games played.

[How do you play?]

I always use 5 min periods, Auto goalies, Penalties on (no offsides), and no line changes.

[Worst player in this game.]

One of the worst would definitely have to be Brad McCrimmon from Detroit. I think he is too slow to be an effective defenseman.

[Problems with Sega CD NHL 94]

If you're going to play the game on your computer, don't burn it to a CD. Just leave the iso on your computer and play it from the directory.

You only need to burn it to a CD if you're going to play it on the actual Sega CD console.

[Problems with Sega CD NHL 94]

I downloaded all 7 parts to the game and extracted them to create the nhl94.iso file. I burned it onto a cd and downloaded the file on this site that allows sega cd games to be played on gens. When I play the cd, it tells me to press start. When i do the Sega logo comes up and then the screen goes blank. What is the problem?

This was a pretty cool game even though you could only play as the international teams.

Last time I checked mine it still worked even though I played the living crap out of the game.

I usually play as Detroit or Chicago. I like Detroit for its very strong power play and Chicago for its great penalty killing.

[White Ice: The Best Change Of All]

I don't really care for the white ice. The light blue ice from the SNES version is my favorite.

[From NHL 94 to NHL 95]

I didn't really care for NHL 95 too much at all mostly because it was way too easy to score. The one thing the game did do right, though, was the addition of a practice mode.

I was just surfing the net and was shocked to find a site about a single game in the nhl series that happened to be my all time favorite. I just found this site yesterday and decided i had to register. I am from Taylor, Michigan near Detroit and I am naturally a rabid Red Wings fan. I am also hoping to join the online league later on.
