EA Hockey ('91)

EA Hockey, NTSC-J cart. Since I don't own a Mega Drive or an adapter, yet, I'm unable to find out if there are any differences between other regions. I did look around to see if there was a ROM dump of this cart, but I wasn't able to find one.

Had to share this from EA Hockey Japan. Played 5 min. periods and spent most of the time penalty killing. It was one crazy game for sure.

Why are the versions so different? Europe has a break neck pace. I feel like I'm playing as the millennium falcon. Where the Japan version is almost too slow.

If anyone has a bin file where you can play as team USA in the playoffs for EA Hockey please share.

so there i was doing some of my simmimg competitions and this happened thirty seconds left to play, a fight breaks out but it's no ordinary fight it's a ONE MAN FIGHT?!? but the players are in their fight sequence and the clock continues until it runs out and then the winning teams celebrates but that player CONTINUES TO SHADOW BOX!?!?!?!?! never ever seen this before EVER in the thousands of games i've seen in fact never ever in any nhl game time to call mulder and scully?

I just got this rom and didn't know it existed. Within seconds, I had a fight! (in 93 I beleive it's impossible to get a fight in the first 5 minutes of a game). Does anyone know where I can find the rosters? At least for Canada, US, Sweden, Soviet Union, etc some of the players had to be guys I'd know of.

Hey, long time lurker, first time poster. Had a thing I wanted to ask about this version of the game, because I noticed that when you go into Playoff mode that the United States and Yugoslavia teams aren't available to be picked for some reason; it just goes from United Kingdom to Belgium and vice versa, skipping over both. I'm guessing it's some kind of programming bug, since they're the last two teams in the game alphabetically. I don't suppose there's some sort of fix for this somewhere, is there?

Yes....It's not 94....but I love this game and I think it is a ton of fun.. I know people on here won't be attending but I thought I'd post anyways for interest. I only expect people from Saskatoon to actually be here. I hope it'll tie nicely in with the olympics having all of the international countries. well I cant remember the diffence of it and 92 they the same, have NHL teams cant remember I have 2 comps and the other1 has my emu so screens of both would great

Something I'll be working on, is putting together a 94 ROM with the 21 teams and rosters from the 1990-91 season. This time period was after a long run of 12 years without any major expansion. It was the year before San Jose was given a team and a couple of seasons before Minnesota would lose their team to Dallas. Things to do: 1. Figure out how to extract the roster from the .md file 2. Hey, does anyone know that you can change your goalie with a player? I was fiddling around with N.H.L hockey 91 and found out that you put your goalie in a skaters position and a player in the goalie position. Just open it with NOSE, go to the lines and switch one with the other. The player who you switched with the goalie will show up as a goalie, and vice versa with the switching a player with a goalie. Anyways, is it possible to do this with 94? Cause I've tried and failed

too much fun with this game...beating down your oppenent after he scores its just hillarious.. This game is awesome and it would be truely great if it had manual goaltending. the scores usually end up being football scores
