Hello all, just wondering would there be possibility to make a hack, where all players on ice have their number and position showing all the time. You know like now the player who have the puck on control, have number and position showed below him. Would it be a hard hack to do?

Yep, would require hex editing to get it work and I am not sure if it would be possible even then. I added old DOS version of Toni Wilen's NHLinfo to here: http://forum.nhl94.com/index.php/topic/15692-nhl95pc-editing-tools-and-tutorials/?p=132229 if you still want to use it.

I did not knew you can change team divisions with NHLinfo (so that they will work on game). Do you remember which old version of NHLinfo did you use? Was it Windows or DOS version?

I am not sure if lines affecting to result of simulated games and player stats, but players previous season stats will do.

but was situation before even starting of season and it was showing those games in wnhlinfo.
This is happening to you when you are simulating games? Does it happen if you play only one game or on certain point of season?

Pearate is right and you can also change lines from keyboard if that is option to you. Home team lines from F1-F4 and visitor team lines from F5-F8. F9-F10 takes goalies to bench. I think there is also possibility to change dosbox window size without entering to full screen mode, maybe dosbox wiki and forum could help on that one.

I don't know how to disable OT completely, but you can try to change OT time to 0:00 by this: http://forum.nhl94.com/index.php?/topic/14842-change-time-for-nhl95pc-5min-periods-and-overtime/?p=122383
That way game goes to 4th period but there is no time to play, so on regular season that should work.
Which logos do you mean?
- On Scouting report screen I have posted instructions there.
- On game itself, logos next to score screen can be edited by JED editor. You can find JED editor from here: http://forum.nhl94.com/index.php/topic/15692-nhl95pc-editing-tools-and-tutorials/
- Logos on center ice are editable but I don't know how they have done it on some mods. One possibility is to disable center ice logo and paint it to ice itself, like on goodbyeccha's NHL15 conversion.

For sounds on NHL95PC there is no editor. I think Goodbyeccha did change files with hex editor.

Have you red info files from Nhlinfo WNHLINFO.zip and Gfxpak? gfxpak0.59.zip, maybe those will offer you a solution...

I would just like a simple description of how to actually play the original NHL 95 for PC. I have the original CD somewhere but not sure how to play it in windows vista.

You can edit rosters and player ratings, you can change uniforms and you can change almost all graphics (I think all menu graphics are changeable). Not have found any way to add teams, so we are stuck to 26 + 2 all-stars teams so far. You can edit Ice and even center logo is editable, but we do not know how it was done on some releases. Anyhow, you can hide center ice logo and "paint" it on ice picture itself. Thats the way Goobyeccha did it on his NHL15PC conversion.
Jer did give you already good starting point, read few topics here and you will see what is changeable and how.

KOHL8 starts soon, last day for apply to league is 21.7.2015 12:00 UTC+3 (Finland). KOHL is GM/coach league, games are simmed by NHL95PC. All games are proacasted by Ustream. If I remember correctly jersey editor for NHL95PC is a DOS-program, so try Dosbox.

Good work goodbyeccha! I just wrote a bat-file for a rink selection. Check it and if you approve, you may attach it to your original NHL15 package. Just place it on same folder where HOCKEY.EXE is.

Career stats were corresponding to simulated stats on originals. I did not tested how lineups will affect to simulated games, if any. I dunno if custom rosters broke this somehow.
