For the record, I was asked A or B, which if you are asking me, means there are not enough people who want to play & finish a league while blitz & gdl are running.
Last classic, I had Philly as a sub in B2 & went to game 7 w/ minpind in the playoffs. He lost to Seth & beat the others in much shorter series than mine.
So, to me, I'd consider it a wash. B+ type material in A league. Long odds on anyone in B not named Dickon to go anywhere if subbed for me, which is why they were asking, I'd assume. At least get guys who want to be in the ga.

Both of these are impressive records.
I just loaded it up for a test myself & All East vs Anaheim & only reached 40-1.
On the smoz note, I tried Blues vs Ana & got 32-0.
Both scores suck.
Might have to do some type of side contest like vs Allstar East & West, best scores w/ reg teams.

The only 2 coaches I didn't play my games against are you & Nancy/Begley. I called you out via the AIM GDL X chat for like a week & 1/2 to no response ever.
Nancy is a known quitter, and it didn't surprise me to not hear from him. I had a hard time tracking you down in Classic spring, but you did play your games against me, and obviously, played them well, so I'm not saying you "ducked me". Just stating your implication above that you put yourself out there, didn't get your games in, & now you are getting penalized is babble & moronic/false. You are rarely on to play compared to most guys I try to find, whether in the AM or PM.
I had heard draft position gets hurt by DNP's as well, and REALLY wanted to get our 2 games in. Also, I have no messages from you on the PM, AIM, email or GDL Chat.
If someone have a ton of DNP's it's because they didn't really message anyone. The GDL X chat line was used by most people to line up games, and anyone who didn't get them in, more than likely, wasn't on that much either.
Raph seems to have more cred around here than most, so going on a long winded attack against one of the guys who plays well, spends his time helping others and plays his games is living up to the reputation TK & Co were labeling at you during Classic Spring, King of the Douchebags. I tried to defend your position then, as I felt you had rights to be in Classic B if you wanted without their cat calls, but you've got like a 3 post troll running here.

Houly beats Brutus in 4 games, I think it was like 9-7, 8-6, 6-5, 4-3.
Something like that. I've got the games saved if you guys decide they need to be uploaded, otherwise, Houly knows he's up against Kupuck.

There are about 7-8 guys, including Plabax, who just beat the piss out of just about everyone below them. There are not 15 of you guys, and if you look at all the leagues that you guys start and don't finish, adding one banned guy to one league does not stop the need for having replacement coaches whenever you guys start a league, as you each randomly decide this is not the season you want to finish (probably attributed to being bored w/ your 10,000th season).
Houly is not in that 7-8 A+ level, imo. I've played him & either won or held my own in tight losses. Most A- to B+ guys I can split or win a series against, or lose w/ grace. Subbing B+ talent for A- talent doesn't affect the hierarchy of a league, as you are claiming.
There are no 16 seeds popping up as league champion come playoff time. It's a straight route, beat down, top seeds meet in the finals type setup. So, whether seed #16 is A- talent or seed #16 is B+, the result is still a loss in 4 games come playoff time, maybe in 5.
Either way, you were obviously aggravated w/ not getting your way w/ Houly, and decided to act like the zit popping twat you are. No one really gives 2 f&cks to hear your legal explanations post-fact of the words "noob" or "garbage". Just move on with it.

I leave more quality DNA in the weekend's dirty socks than you bring to the table when you think it's about talking like a total b-hole one second, then trying to back it down the next.
Houly got banned for a reason. "A" level players got replaced for a reason.
Neither had anything to do w/ my talent level or record against you, so to bring my name up is the reason you douche out at the end of the night.

Plabax, you had only 12 teams in the league & only 40 games to play & STILL couldn't finish a season as this elite community.
Somehow, you got it that my "noob garbage" play is the cause of your issues, or that one banned member is the other issue. The real issue is you can't find 10 guys of your "level" that want to play with you for a whole season to hang some more banners in your online profile.

Brutus seals his shark attack finish against Jack&Jose w/ a 7 goal Falloon outburst to advance in Round 1, 4 games to 2.
Game 3 was a wild one, with my Sharks winning 1-0 on a J&J's own goal in the first 10 seconds to open the game, only goal of the game.
Thanks J&J for the fill-in, solid series.
Let me know who I play in round 2 guys. I'm on again tomorrow night, but probably late.

I've been working on a tournament site to enable guys who aren't in leagues to get involved in some meaningful exhibs as well as others who are but have extra games in them to join a quick tournament without committing a season length of games.
Coming along slower than I like, but I think it'll be here shortly.
Hoping that fills some of the B league void.

Aside from being weight bug fixed w/ custom checking, which is NOT that different from WBF Classic, I'd thought most of Blitz's appeal was the complicated site Smoz had built that incorporated all the stats & hacks of his complicated ROM and enabled these multi-level leagues to incorporate each other with the drafts, etc.

IF I am, count me in for a Plabax run Blitz site. If not, we still need to find someone to figure out Smoz's site, but that would be done somewhere else, as we'd be trolling (Plabaxing) Plabax forum page about his site!

I think Plabax is trying to say, he's taken the time to code a site & design it himself, and wants to fill in a league to test it out.
The Blitz site is already built and uses an older code, ASP, from my understanding. Plabax codes in PHP, and would have to learn an entire new language to run Blitz, which is not what he's trying to do here at this time.

I'm the first guy who loves to get the sh&t slinging back & forth, but I think if we separate out Plabax's trolling, and everyone's dislike of forum style, I think some of the trade protests have more teeth has validity.
The one thing you need if you allow trades is a board that will reflect most of the league's opinions on those protests & rulings.
If you have that, your still get some dissent, but it gets shouted out quickly. And, you put up an official trade protest with a forum for that, and the league agrees to keep the forum in house, so you aren't out trolling & byatching on other forums about your league's trade(s).
I also think one season without trades a counter test would be fun as well. It's not like the changes would be permanent if you had people vote each year what rules they want in & out. That's how my fantasy baseball league in does it. The buy in is heavy (over $400/yr), so everything gets hot blooded like this forum, and you need hard rules & votes on those rules each season to keep the peace.

I'm US Central Time, and usually get on to play NHL94 around 10:30 pm, some nights as late as 11:30 pm.
Monday nights usually takes me closer to the 11:30 pm.
I turn my AIM on when I'm around. Gonna try & get Boston caught up on some of these games.
