Any NEW user who signs up on NHL94Online for a league will need to be confirmed before being able to take their place on the league's Waiiting List. In order for them to be confirmed, they need to play a test game against a veteran coach in order to test their connection. NOTE -- admins may have the right to not penalize DNP depending on each situation. In the case of ties, the admins will have to look at head to head manually at the end of season. Since turnout was less than I expected (we had one coach replaced by another, who decided not to play any games), I did not do Negative Points. Although even if I did, the outcome of who made the playoffs would not change, since they were the ones who played the most games anyway (except Triple A). Congratulations on a great season in both A & B! As a reminder, both conference winners are the #1 and #2 seeds, followed by the next best 6 in the league. Minus 2 points for each DNP to get to total points, and then the seeds are by winning percentage. The DNP's did not affect the B league, but for the A league it was why AJ (likely) fell short of the conference win and dcicon missed the cut. Playoffs can start immediately. Team draft selection has begun! We will have a 10 team "A" league and 12 team "B" league. I weighted the draft in B to give new players a better chance at a high draft pick in B. I did the same with "A" , but just slightly. When it is your turn, reply to this thread to choose your team (or hit me up on Discord). You can choose any team that has not already been selected in your league. We will be having 1 league this season in SNES. Once the draft is over, we will start the new season, with a 40 game schedule. I will be dividing the single league into 2 conferences, essentially an "A" level conference, and a "B" level conference. Schedules will be weighted (Playing more in-conference more games than out of conference) and playoffs will be divided by conference, with the winners of each playing each other for the final (like the NHL Playoffs), with 4 teams in each conference making the playoffs.
