    I'd love to see the Penguins vs the Blackhawks. Although Boston-LA would be entertaining too, as it would be two teams just beating the hell out of each other. But Pittsburgh-Chicago would be a great offensive series, with lots of skill on display.

    Plus I'm still bitter about the Leafs' collapse in Game 7, and I want Boston to go down in flames. Except for my B2 Neely/Oates/Bourque team, THOSE Bruins I want to win. =)

    Hey guys,

    I just wanted to apologize for being offline most of the past week; I joined as a replacement coach fully intending to get in a good 10+ games, but I unfortunately ended up losing the majority of my time slots since I joined.

    I am highly unlikely to be online today, as I have a prior engagement after work. If I can, I will be online for a handful of games late this evening (10-11pm EST), but the odds are I won't be able to help anyone get their games in.

    If there is anyone who is on the playoff bubble due to outstanding games with B1 Calgary, please email me (the1jasontaylor@hotmail.com) and I will what I can to accomodate this evening (if the kids are cooperative... and that's a big if... I might be able to get games in 7-8pm EST as well).

    I'm working from home today, and likely available for at least a pair of games from 1-5pm Eastern.

    I should also have some availability between 1-4pm and 8-11pm Eastern on Saturday. But I'll be offline all day Sunday.

    JBalicki and I just played our final two games, putting him up to 4th and placing you in the danger zone, Marchawg... looks like you need Tommy and Singel Mamma to miss their remaining games (Wittgenstein's a wild card too). You were the second to hit 40 games in B2, my fingers are crossed for you!

    Hey MTL/STL/NJ,

    Let me know as to your availability this week. I'm pretty flexible timing-wise Friday to Sunday, and I'm free in the evenings after 8pm Eastern Tuesday to Thursday.

    Singel_Mamma (NJ) in particular... have'nt been able to reach you at all, and I'd like to avoid the DNP penalties. I've been trying to contact you for several weeks now, get in touch please.     I'm not pro or anti anyone, I've enjoyed my interaction with pretty much everyone on the site. And I like competitiveness as much as the next guy.

    I'm just saying let's keep the language clean and friendly-like. Except for the Turret's Syndrome I apparently developed when trying out the GENS rom for the first time this past weekend. =)

    BTW, LOVE the Spider-Man pic Kupuck.

    Is there a seahag-type service that tracks player stats, like the classic site here? I think that's the coolest part of the classic league, seeing how your individual players are doing.

    I wouldn't be able to do one hour of SNES hockey (my thumbs would fall off!), but I DO have another suggestion. It's a bit of an honour system, but here's how my buddy and I would play back in the day: auto line changes, offsides on, penalties on, manual goalies.

    But the big clincher was no speed bursts (and we also weren't aware of the "use the hook button to get up after a hit" trick). It forces you to be a lot more careful on defense, and 2-in-1's become a much bigger deal (you could only hit speed burst/check if you had a legitimate chance at hitting the other player). It made for some tight games that were a lot of fun.

    Didn't manage to get in any games this weekend, although it was largely becaues I was happily distracted with something as rare as a real-world unicorn: Leafs playoff hockey! Game 7 tonight, can't wait!

    Singel_Mamma (NJ), I've tried several ways of contacting you (AIM, Email, forum posts) but I have never received a response to any of my communication attempts. I've seen you online a few times, but my AIM messages always go unanswered. I only ever receive what seems to be group message blasts from you. Let me know what your schedule is like and I will do my best to be flexible; evenings 8-11pm Eastern work best, but I may also be availble during the day Tuesday and Friday (9am to 5pm Eastern) this week. The season is wrapping up soon, and I would like to hit the 40-game mark if possible. Email or AIM me with your availability when you have a moment, plaese.

    I am an admitted "noob", but I don't see why this thread went negative so quickly. Uncle Seth wanted to play some of the better/established players, and I didn't ever get the sense it was a disrespectful challenge or an attempt at bragging. The whole reason for playing people who have better skill sets or reputations is so that you learn and improve, regardless of whether you win the game or not.

    Let's enjoy some NHL94 games, and leave the racist, homophobic and other unnecessary slurs to YouTube commenters. BTW Seth, I've only played GENS like twice and I am definitely not very good at it (yet... but I think I'm a decent SNES player), but I'd be happy to play you sometime.     Anyone up for a Genesis test game? First-time player in SNES Classic (B2), have never played the Genesis version online (and only a handful of games offline).

    Free for the next few hours today (3-6pm Eastern), online throughout the day Saturday (most likely available 1-3pm or 8-11pm).

    Hi B2 SNES league,

    I'm hoping to hit the 40-game mark this weekend. I haven't been able to play New Jersey (singelmamma). I also have the back half of my series with Montreal (Jbalicki10) and St. Louis (Fank), both of which are unfinished because I had to stop our previous sessions after two games (sorry!).

    I'll home today, so I can play this afternoon (2-6pm EST) before Game 5 BOS-TOR hits the airwaves. I'm also available Saturday throughout the day (12-5, 8-11 EST). Sunday being mother's day I'll have less avaiability


    As always, if f I'm on AIM, I'm either available to play or in a game (and likely available soon)
