League Awards

Every league needs some kind of milestone for their players. Much like the NHL has the 50 goal club and 100 point club, nhl94 will have it's own milestone club. Matticefire leads Lemieux to 166 goals this season overall. Dcicon5148 took Alexnder Mogilny to edge out Lemieux for the most points by one player overall with 186. Congrats buds! Classic B1 -> 420 checks in a season for Mr. Emerson. In Classic A, Yzerman has 330 in about 33 games, so he's pacing the 400 clip. In Classic B2, don't see anyone going near it. I doubt anyone "checks" that often how is checking who! Still, a fun little stat check.

The league once again played more games this season than any other. Last season we played 1467 regular season games. This season we played 1734 games. Great job guys! The league completed 96.8% of it's games (an increase over last season) with GENS B and SNES B1 completing 100% of their games. The first time we've ever had two leagues finish all their games in one season. Fall 2011 regular season GENS A – 97.5% GENS B – 100.0% GENS C – 90.9% SNES A1 – 97.5% SNES A2 – 98.3% SNES B1 – 100.0% SNES B2 – 95.4% Overall = 96.8% League awards! Dan ended up controlling 5 teams this season and has been an awesome replacement coach. He's played 172 games this season and will reach 175 if he gets the last three in against hokkee. This shatters the previous record he set last season of 108 games. Awesome job bud.

The record was broken three times this season. Originally set by the deer back in '06 with 248, nhl94dan netted 253, then a couple of weeks later, rc69fabs netted 266. Yesterday, sharksaddict told me that in the last game, he scored goal #266 with 13 seconds left, then broke it with 3 seconds left. Great job!

Congrats on a 37-3 season! The 37 wins ties addisonbr's record from classic league in 2006.

An awesome classic regular season has ended. Thanks to your commitment, we broke the record for most games played with 1467, beating the old record of 1221. Good job guys! Angryjay scored 200 goals and recorded 30 wins in both GENS and SNES this season. It's hard enough to do it in one league but to accomplish all 4 is stellar! Nice work!

Averaging over 8 goals a game this year and netted 300. the first person to do so....congrats!
