Yeah, if anything I was thinking of putting the Fighting * (Wins) before the Fighting. So you can see a Win-Loss thing there. I'll probably end up doing it at some point.

How did you manage that?? Personally, I've never really cared whether I've checked after the whistle or not. During 2on2 hell yes, but GDL or Classic, it was never really my intent. All it does is boost your checks per game. But if it can be tracked as separate stat, then let the hits go. I know in 2on2, I let my player body language do the talking after the whistle: If my team scores a sweet goal or I get a sweet pass to set one up, I'll go over to my teammate for the celebration. If the other team scores, I will try to chase after them and check them. If I make a bonehead play with gc, I'll make the goalie lay down like he's an idiot (me). If I'm frustrated in general I will just skate off screen.

Yeah i prefer a light blue, but i was trying to distinguish between the four sites i have. i just said screw it and made them all a lighter blue.

I just updated my table (two days early) and I wanted to say thanks to you guys. You have been doing one helluva job in getting your games in. You needed around 28.333 games done by the 19th (half the season) and right now as a group you're averaging 28.083. I couldn't ask for more, keep up the great work. Things will be even better once beavers and hokkee start getting their games in soon. Are guys having any trouble getting a hold of VC? He did tell me at one point that he wasn't hearing from guys. I know on AIM his name always has the little phone icon next to it.

You could set the penalty time to zero on the fight winner. There are the 2 penalties the Fighting and the Fighting* (Checkmark).

Well that is something that we can certainly do. Even in the regular GDL, but i think after 9 seasons, it wouldnt go over well.

Teams depends on the interest, I would love to have 24, but if we get to 15 or 16, I would still do it. Weight bug, doesn't matter to me, I would vote on something like that. If everyone wanted to leave it as the original we could, or if we wanted to fix it, that's fine too. I have already experimented with the ROM and changed the one Roughing penalty to "Injuring", also thought of lowering the Fighting Penalty Minutes to 1 (or 2) to increase the possibly if having more fights in the games. It kinda sucks having your bruiser out for a whole period. But, I'm open to other ideas and suggestions. If there are some things we would need to vote on that's totally cool. As far as rules, pretty standard. 2 G, 6 F, 4 D 5 minute periods Line Changes Off Penalties on, except Off-Sides Players available are the ones on the original NHLPA '93 ROM Team names would be NHL teams from '93 to present.

Here is an update on how we are doing on Games Played as a whole. Sorry if the picture is a little fuzzy, I was trying to show the whole excel sheet at once. We are currently in Week 3 which runs until Oct. 11th. Most of you were ok in the first two weeks of the season. There are only about 5 or 6 of you who really, really need to get some games in. Since we only have one guy on the Waiting List (me), and there are a bunch of leagues going right now, I'm not trying to be real strict at this point. Some of the guys have been busy, and have real life things going on. So, this post is more informative, that being a ball buster. Just try to get about 7 games in per week. On Oct.11th, have about 21 finished, on Oct. 19th, about 28 (halfway point of the season). Good up the great work... the race to the playoffs looks to be exciting.

Yeah, it wouldn't be for a while. There has been talk of getting a '93 league together probably since the inception of the site. I just wanted to gauge how many people would actually want something like this to happen, especially with the capability of stats and all. The last thing I would want is to take away from the other leagues that are currently running, and having guys dropping teams all over the place.

Yeah, that is my main concern... we have a bunch of leagues already going on. But if there is enough interest, let's do it.

As of right now, 3:45 PM on 9/27. This is where we stand as far as Games Played. On average you need to get in between 12-18 games by 10/3. I have spoken to some of you already and you said you'll get caught up this weekend. The only one I'm really worried about is Sebe. He has not been on the forums in over two weeks. If anyone has had contact with him please let me know. We will have to move forward with a replacement soon if he doesn't show up. We are about half and half as a league... Outstanding job by those who are way ahead of schedule!!! For the other guys, I know people are busy and have stuff going on. But, let's try to get a couple games in each day and then pick it up on the weekends.
