All the pre'ying in the world couldn't save the Caps, as they scored one goal, and Bautin and Housley felt bad about it, putting two behind Essensa to drive his GAA up and annoy the cantankerous goaltender. "Nice game Mr. Point Blank" said a grinning Housley as Essensa entered the locker room after the victory. Essensa mumbled "Shut up" and took a halfhearted swing at him with his blocker as Housley fell over laughing while his partner-in-crime Bautin readied a shaving cream pie near Essensa's locker.
