Evan Posted September 14, 2006 Report Share Posted September 14, 2006 Well it seems Winnipeg has gotten off to a strong 11-2-0 start this season. The only lull of the season so far has been 1 thing: The Oilers of Edmonton. It seems when Winnipeg laces up the skates and slips on their sweaters for a game against the Oilers, they forget to snap in their brains. The team doesn't remember that a pass should hit the tape of your teammates stick, and that skating around in circles without the puck might make you dizzy. The first 2 games played were complete Edmonton domination, making the previously undefeated team look humble at best. Finally in the 3rd game of the series after tempers soared in the locker room, there was the old team once again. Winnipeg was lucky to get a 4-0 lead early in the 1st, to which they held on to with a 5-2 final.
