Pat LaFontaine scores his first hat trick of the season in his first game under his new coach, in a ridiculously officiated game. Even for most of the game, until Buffalo opened it up in the 3rd period, which saw both teams on the powerplay for literally the entire period! Final score: 7-4 Buffalo.
