HABS Posted December 20, 2006 Report Share Posted December 20, 2006 Dmitry told me few weeks ago that the format was top 6 in each conference. Top 2 each conf gets a bye. Will this still be the format? And can we consider a crossover system? ie...place 7th seed in west/campbell to 6th in east/wales (if the west team has more pts than the east one), this was used in the CFL. Because clearly, the Campbell is going to have atleast 1 or 2 worthy playoff teams, bounced from playoff contention. Or we could keep it simple, top 6 each conf . SSiG Posted December 20, 2006 Report Share Posted December 20, 2006 I also have a playoff idea. Seperate playoffs. The 12 playoff teams, then you have the rest. The rest of the teams that didn't make the playoffs play in a playoff-like tournament to determine the best of the rest. This would give teams (like mine) to keep playing hard all year, knowing that there is some sort of postseason for everyone, instead of just going through the motions after being mathmatically eliminated from a playoff berth.
