After losing game 1 with a 3rd period that got out of hand, game 2 was much closer.

Wpg was up by 2 late, When Detroit was awarded its 2nd penalty shot. #35 dove out of the net and knocked the puck off the shooters stick, but unfortuantely the ref didnt blow the whistle and jay was able to regain the puck and score. after that Winnipeg totally fell apart and lost the game, 7-6

game three was mroe of the same, as Winnipeg saw another lead dissapear, dispite killing off two 5-3's throughout the course of the game.

Game 4 found Wpg losing by 3 goals with about 3 minutes left, when they mustered up a comeback of their own. With 3 seconds left in the 3rd, Winnipeg had a penalty shot to win the game, but Steen was stopped. In overtime, the Jets were able to get the win, 8-7.

Game 5 was a slap in the face. after falling behind early, a dump in behind Detroits net found teemu with the puck and the goalie behind the net. A perfect centering feed saw Zam shoot the puck over the wide open net. After that stroke of sh*t luck for the Jets, the refs took pity on them calling a parade of penaltys. On one of the 5-3's, Wpg came down with a goalie lock that saw a crease cut goal that had no chance of being stopped. They were never able to recover and saw the gods rip the game from them, 8-3
