Billy K Posted May 23, 2008 Report Share Posted May 23, 2008 Early today in my version of the long ass season of NHL 94, the rangers was at buffalo to take on the Sabres. The score was tied 2-2 and overtime isn't enough, so i had my version of a shootout and it was ridiculous. It took 17 rounds to finish the game. The shootout score was 1-1, Pat Lafointe came out for the fouth time and beat mike richter for the goal. On the other end Mark Messier failed to score against Grant Fuhr and the sabres beat the Rangers 3-2! Excellent finish between 2 hard nose teams. Evan Posted May 25, 2008 Report Share Posted May 25, 2008 Are you simulating games or actually playing them all out? 17 rounds in a shootout sounds crazy if you were playing another human. Way back my cousin and I did a complete 40-game season with all the teams (and playoffs) playing all the games out with 10 minute periods. I'll have to post those stats here for amusement.
