Mateo
and I have a question to all the gamers on here... What did you call "The Move?" You know, the one where you deked out the goalie and scored?
Guest Wags13
"The Move" to me is when you approach the goalie from the left or right at approximately a 45 degree angle, and then right as you close in on the goalie you quickly move the puck to the short side a fire a wrist shot past the goalie.... smozoma
i'd just call the straight on deke "the deke" never had a "the move"!
Louie14
EA Sports refers to this as the "Genesis Deke," as stated in a readme.txt in an NHL2000 patch many moons ago...
addisonbr
http://nhl94.com/html/multimedia/nhl94_car...IPS&crd=222 What some call the deke, we and others have always called it "The Move". For us the term "The Move" dates pretty much from '91 until present day. Not having any exposure to an EA-NHL community outside of our dorm back then, I'm pretty inclined to respect that the terminology "The Move" evolved independently in many different places.
