    Agreed!  It was so much fun!  Yeah That Perron shot with 7 seconds remaining was so amazing!

If you tested out other teams, you might have noticed a trend in that all of the teams that are within reach of making the playoffs are featured in the game, and all of the teams that are functionally eliminated, were told to empty their lockers and go home.
    Except for the goalie.

    But he does eventually decide he's had enough and will bugger off as well at the start of the third period.

    After further reflection, it was probably a missed opportunity to not set the goalie roaming area to the entire rink.

    Uh...April fools.

     

    To make it up, I'll probably set up a real update once the playoffs start.

    Yep same here!  It's like your not playing against an opponent cuz there's only 5 men on the ice.

    Decided to turn this one into a Path to the Playoffs Edition to highlight all the teams that are gearing up for a run at the Stanley Cup. The trade deadline sellers are still there despite having fewer bodies than they did at the start of the season, but lets face it, much like the fans that are still showing up to the games in real life, you're probably going to have more fun playing as the teams that are looking to extend their season and not their lottery odds.

    @von Ozbourne & @Jkline3 just downloaded your NHL 94 30th Anniversary Edition and it is so much fun!  Coming from just playing the original NHL 94 on Sega CD this is so neat to play with todays rosters.  Of course I'm using my Red Wings and am excited to use Patrick Kane!  Hoping Kane starts doing better so you can improve him on an update later on.  Anyway thank you so much for this!  You guys did an incredible job!  :-)

    Ok so good news is I've got the hockey up and running!  It downloaded perfectly to my everdrive x5 with the 32 GB SD Card.  Bad news is I can't get any of the genesis games to load on the sd card.  Just get an error code.  I mean I got the everdrive just for this hockey game anyway but it would've been nice to horse around with some genesis games too.

    You can download ROMs (full games, with the updates already included) from this site and put them on the Everdrive cartridge.

    The x5 will work for like 99.9% of Genesis games, but not crazy mods like the 40MB Sonic Delta mod..

    If you want to play EVERYTHING (CD games?), there's the "PRO" but it's quadruple the cost.

    Finally ordered the Mega Everdrive X5 from Krikzz!  How long does it usually take to deliver to the U.S.?

    Just to be clear the ROM here isn't an update exactly, it is the original ROM, already updated for your convenience. You can grab it, and try it out on any free emulator, right away! No "updating" required. If you are on a Mac, grab OpenEmu, if you are on another OS, I'm sure that there are lots more great options.
