  1. Thanks for this hali.

Already had some good games. Kashim went down big in our first tilt then came back with a vengeance in game 2 handing me my first loss. Plenty more to come no doubt.

Usually if I'm online, I'm good for games, so hit me up people.

  2. Really fun season. I will post a bit of recap when I have a chance, but congrats to Bob again. That was one of the best series I've been involved in even if it ended in heartbreak for me.

Really impressed with everyone getting their games in and generally being awesome buds. Everyone give yourself a pat on the back!

Much respect to hali, chaos, c4 and anyone else who was involved in setting this up, making it run smoothly, and giving us all a place to play.

As for the issues on the table.

    1. I would vote for penalties ON because pens off nerfs the poke check and it changes the way a lot of people play d. Also would be nice to penalize ramming the goalie but that's less important. No real opinion on 1 vs. 2 minute penalties.

    2. I didn't bother trying to make trades but no harm in leaving the option there in case someone wants to I guess?

    3. Not sure how dropping players is going to play out. Need to look at it a bit more.

  3. Side note: In SNES, if you have a delayed penalty shot call at the end of a period and the time runs out before the penalized team touches the puck the penalty shot will be at the beginning of the next period and that board magnet glitch appears.

Love this one, I use it as a strategy if someone has a breakaway in the last few seconds and I figure I can keep from touching the puck before the whistle goes. Dirty trick if people don't know about it, but all's fair in love and war.

  4. In the SNES version, as far as I know the CPU will never yank the starter no matter how many goals you put up. But they will always pull the goalie in favour of the extra man as long as there is less than a minute left in the game, they have the puck in your half, and they're down by 1-2 goals. It's automatic.

In the PC version (it's been a while) I remember the CPU would pull the goalie if you scored a certain number of goals, which was more realistic. Also, in season play the backup might start some games (not sure about this).
