  1. Thanks, c4!

All looks good with my team. I apparently have two guys who are 99 overall. This is fine.

    Team: Houston Aeros

    First Line

    G - Kirk McLean

    LD - Brian Leetch
    RD - Scott Stevens

    LW - John Leclair
    C - Eric Lindros
    RW - Mikael Renberg

    X - Alexei Zhamnov
    (extra attacker when goalie pulled)

    Second Line

    G - Jocelyn Thibault

    LD - Mark Tinordi
    RD - Gord Murphy

    LW - Craig Janney
    C - Ron Francis
    RW - Alexei Zhamnov

    X - Eric Lindros
    (extra attacker when goalie pulled)

I'll leave Francis at #10 and change Leclair back to #17.

Interested about this one as well. How does the true Genesis version play out if emulator is faster, is it closer to SegaCD version? I recall that being smooth? How about the SNES side does that emulate equally to the console version?

There is a difference for sure. If you know what you're doing, generally that will show itself after a few games. But I think on both systems if you are used to playing on the actual system versus emulators, it can't hurt.

For me the biggest difference is the controllers. Learn to play on the OEM controllers. The slight difference in lag can be overcome.

  3. I say we give AJ Joby Messier and he can draft the rest of his team once we're done.

For real, I guess it's a little questionable to give someone joining the obvious best team in the league. If people want to do this, that's fine too. I just want to play and I'd like AJ to be involved.

Also Brutus I was never necessarily trying to draft the 100% best team, it's all about the theming! But I do like my team.

  4. Wanted to put this up today cause Tim deserves some kudos.

I thought I had everything figured out with the Devils. I was wrong and XCing made me pay with Buffalo. Our first game, we traded goals and he got the last one. Then in game 2 everything was going in for me and I built on that in game 3, but then he pushed back hard. Clamped down on D and I just didn't have enough to break through.

Mogilny was the star but he also got a lot of offense out of Khmylev.

    9-8 BUF

    11-2 NJ

    5-2 NJ

    5-2 BUF

    2-0 BUF

    7-6 BUF

Good games bud, you earned it. No Classic 3 peat for me! Now go start your own streak.

  5. For those interested in SNES, I have successfully set up my brand new MacBook air to play it online using Hamachi and ZSNES. I kind of stumbled into it via trial and error so I don't know if I could explain it to someone else, but I think I'm using Playonmac to do it.

I also have OpenEmu for all sorts of SNES, NES, GENS etc. games. It works perfectly. It's an awesome emulator. I love how you can scroll through your library of games with all the original cover art. It's as if I own a vast library of cartridges on multiple systems!!

Can confirm it works great for games of 94 and RBI Baseball on airplanes.
