The first ever Blitz finals came in with a lot of hype as the two top coaches this season brought in their teams ready for a epic match up. A showdown as Detroit took 3 of 4 from Buffalo during the regular season and the first ever Blitz Finals were about to begin and Buffalo and Detroit were ready for a war.
Game 1
3-1 Buffalo
In the opening game of the series there was a feeling out process with Mogilny coming out of his playoff funk to light the lamp twice and Fuhr shutting the door on any Detroit opportunity early. A defensive match up in the final two periods left for an exciting game and a great way to open the series.
Game 2
7-2 Buffalo
Game 2 was the total opposite of Game 1. Mogilny started things out with a natural hat trick and it was sweet sailing from there for Buffalo. Mogilny added 1 more and Lafontaine added a hat trick of his own to send things to Detroit with Buffalo atop 2-0.
Game 3
6-1 Buffalo
The Detroit crowd was restless and ready to support their team for Game 3. But Dale Hawerchuk must have woken up from his Games 1 & 2 naps as he starts the scoring out with Mogilny with 3 goals in 90 seconds to start out the first period. Fuhr shut the door again as Buffalo was just too much for Detroit in Game 3.
Game 4
1-0 Buffalo
Detroit just couldn't come back from the huge 3-0 lead and Buffalo finished them off gracefully. Buffalo showed why they were one of the top teams during the regular season and went 8-1 during the playoffs.
Congratulations to all who participated in Blitz Farm league this year, a great year and a great playoffs!! Best of luck to the guys in A & B for their playoff games!!

Not sure what the banning is for, but for someone who always plays their games I would think the classic league needs players like hokkee.
Frequent trading aside, at least let him in classic to keep him ready for when he comes back, unless he did something sooooooo bad that it can't be mentioned on the boards.

Registered a little while back.
I'm In!

Yeah, not sure if we were going to be able to double up again like Fall. Can't wait to get into a full season in Gens B.
-
Any test games needed I should be on as well.

yeah...I think he'll get it up sometime tonight. You gonna be the first to register? I think Evan's giving 100 bucks to the first person to sign up.
100 bucks, not bad, I'll have to monitor this closely and sign up as soon as it is available!
