Yesterday Probob and I played the ROM as our assigned teams for the 1st time. Let me be the 1st to tell you that we had an awesome game. Even though I lost 5-3, I felt that there was no advantage towards any of us. The game was very neutral and we really didn't get allot of offsides. I think if I can remember we combined about 6-8 offsides during the whole game. The 7 minutes per period was perfect. We played the game for a good 15 minutes and it did not desync'd. I actually liked the manual line changes. It is little rough to get used to at 1st, but after a while I was able to get the hang of it. Then I started to play a game with Comback King "CHICAGO" and we were playing good. We didn't finish it cause my "Ball and CHAIN" kept asking me to put up curtains for her. "Women - Can't live with them, Can't heard them all to CANADA" Added NOTE: I read the forum so far and I have not gotten any of those problem except for "Lightning Fast Menu" But it was a one time glitch. It hasn't happened to me for a while. The ROM is fine. I believe it become it could be people's internet connectivity.

WOAW! Didn't you guys already selected teams for people that signed up? You gave San Jose right? Did I miss something?

Hey Robbie, So far it looks like you have allot good followers. You got 12 "committed" so far. Not the ones that don't actually finish the season. The committed ones only.

For once I agree with the Russian Rocket.

I heard that! That was my opinion of this whole season in the 1st place. More time all settings. The true committed will finish this season completely.

To be honest I am not really experienced with manual line changes. I always thought that you guys were talking playing this new season with Auto line changes. I don't really have a problem with that. But I would prefer Auto. I am hoping that some other people agree with me. If not whatever...

Yo Bud, You pissed me off. I pissed you off. We went at it. You Kicked my Ass. Now Theres nothing more to say. Like I stated on the forum "You won, I loss, End of story" I realize I need more practice and more experience. But I showed up I didn't flaked on you. I took the beating and gave credit where credit is due. I know I ate my words, But that isn't gonna stop from keep playing the way I want to play. Sooner or later "Cause that's how I am" I am going to beat you and anybody else who gives me a challenge. I will keep practicing and I will win. Just keep bringing it. I want to play you again and again and again until I beat you. But You did win. I need to respect that. No hard feelings. It's just the nature of the game. I hate to loose. That's all I have to say about that.

What does that mean?

Thanks Trudatman! I appreciate that someone sees my point. I have been playing this game since I was 15. And even then I had to learn the offsides and manual goalie. Yo Russian Rocket! Trudatman is right about the game. There is a reason why nobody is playing NES Ice Hockey or Blades of Steel anymore. I am not saying that you're point isn't valid. You obviously have been in this league longer than we have BUT it dosent excuse the fact that we are playing "NES mode" I will guarantee you that a majority of us understand the game with all the settings. Maybe you and the league don't really want try. You probably have a set routine on how to attack based on the settings off which probably makes really good. Hey I won 6 games with settings off. Yeah it was a sucky season for me but I know I will get better. But I prefer with all the settings because ever since I first bought this back in 93' I played with all the settings.

Thanks for the feedback fellas. Like I said I thought I knew how to play this game only to realize that I am a noobie. But I still believe their should be just a little longer periods and at least more games on the schedule. Ethier way I enjoyed playing. I am still going against Onetimer (QUE) for the second round of the pitty playoffs. Can't wait for next season.

Hello NHL 94 Fanatics. I want to take the time to reflect on this NHL Classic season of Gens B1. I really enjoyed it. Even though I sucked balls on it. I learned allot about the game. I thought that i knew that game like a book, But I was wrong. There was stuff shown to me by some of the players that I never thought it was possible on the game. This game is more well designed then people give it credit for. Usually I would do the ol' right to left juke on a breakaway from from left or right post position. The goalie would fall for it all the time as auto goalie BUT with Manual Goalie Everyone knew that so well which is why I believe I lost so many games. I was so predictable and I plus the one timers weren't working for me. I only won 6 games and that is not good enough for me. I broke my controller because of this season. I guess I get really emotional about a loss. (27 Loses to be exact) I do though have some opinions with the rules and settings to the game. 1. 10 Minute Periods - The game goes too fast. which makes the season go fast. I know that some people wants to finish right away but dosent that defeat the purpose of playing this game? I mean I want to play this game with the other person but it ends too fast. If people don't want to play this for a long period of time then you shouldn't be playing this league in the 1st place. Any one who really devotes themselves tho the season will play these games (All 40 of them) and play them at 10 minutes a period. That's just my opinion. 2. Offsides - Come on Dude! Really? How much of a Hockey Fan are you guys?I am from California and Mexican American you really think at 1st I really understood the rule of "Offsides"? Of course not. I had to learn the hard way like everyone else.Thats how i knew how to play real fundamental hockey up in San Diego when I was 20. The fact of the matter is that these game get easily won because of the long pass to a player giving him a chance to score easily on the Goalie. I believe anyone who really wants to play this game (Especially NHL 94) should play with offsides. 3. "Last but not Least" ... Players that don't show up on Aim or answer emails - Man! I have 5 games that were never played because they never answered me or coordinated with me to play those games. I din't matter to my record because I still had a losing season but I don't want to be the one that only played 35 games. If you're going to want to play this next season, COMMIT yourself. To the Commissioners - Loved this season. Please let me know when I can join the next up and coming season. Hopefully there will more teams to play. And Thats\'s the BOTTOM LINE! I agree also I only played 7 games so far and its the first week Now this is the second week and I cant find no one to play the season games. Every time i go online theres no one except for Pittsburgh and I only have 2 games with him (already played. Get with me as soon as possible so we can play some games. looks like we should more than 40 games don't you think?

Yo guys Love your set up. I saw my profile with the LA logo and stats. As soon as you give out the season schedule we have to knock out certain amount of games by a certain deadline period right? or are you giving us the whole schedule and we have to play as many games as we can before a deadline? anyways its great to be part of this. I loved this game since I was a kid in Jr. High. Is there a league that plays with the 2011 version?

Hey Chaos I finally got this gens/netplay to work. I actually played with Holy 8 He must be a veteran cause he kicked my butt 9 to 2 but as long as i could play thats what mattered. late Stonecoldeap
