I hear you man, a lot of people don't seem to want to play lately unless it's a league game. It's disenchanted me a bit, not the gung-ho guy I was when I first joined the site. So I cut back on going on IM looking for exhibitions. I'm like you, I'm not naturally gifted at this game like some, I have to play a lot to stay in game shape. I miss TK, he'd play all the time and playing him over n over upped one's own game.

I know I've been absent a lot lately, discouraged by not seeing people on when I sign on, or if they are on, they don't respond.

His girl was even hotter looking on TV. Scooped up Hertl on my fantasy team after his 2nd goal tonight. Sick goals and playing with Thornton helps "a little".

I don't know why it bothers me so much. I'm anal about some things. So, I actually do know why then, hehe. There's only like 3 of us who follow the same color "rules" around here. I just like the simplicity of knowing immediately who is available (to play) and not just shoot the breeze on AIM, and who is actually busy doing other things but nearby and can/may respond. But if hardly anyone conforms to that protocol............then I guess I'll just have to face the facts and deal with it. Alright, that's the end of my rant. BTW, sorry about that Chaos!

I wouldn't mind a little less in terms of point deduction for DNP. Maybe 1 pt subtracted for each. Simply because of how difficult it is sometimes to find someone to get those last games in. Despite being on all the time last season, I couldn't get 4 games in. But if it stays at 2, I guess that's ok.

Given the hot thread about GDL playoffs, (the DNP penalty pts, the seeding controversy etc),,,...........will any changes be implemented for this upcoming classic? IMO, this is a logical time to lobby for or against possible changes.

New members that want to play 94. Go on Ebay or Craigslist and get an original used Sega controller (3 button or 6 button). It must say Sega on it. The knockoffs break very very easily but used original controllers are pretty bulletproof. Then get a get a Sega USB Adapter from Ebay or Amazon. Unfortunately both sites are either sold out or have a couple left and are price gouging the s**t out of them, pricing them at over $100 when they are usually around $20.
Make sure you're physically connected by a cord to the internet. If you only pick up Wifi, you're games will be laggy and not fun.
Download AIM because that's how you'll mainly contact others for games.

Yes, the above guy with the beard is, in fact my brother. Too bad you only have wireless. If you were hooked up to a cable you'd be able to play in Fall Classic coming up.

It's been a while since Hokkee challenged me and I accepted. However, we haven't played. How long before I accept a challenge from someone else. Raph was on and wanted to but I told him I had to play Hokkee first. Shouldn't there be a time-window of say a couple weeks where if the first challenger doesn't end up playing King, the King can move on to the next guy? Weigh in Plabs.
PS, my streak is at 2 now.

I never knew who AJ was. Didn't know that person was the same as AngryJay, whom I just met & started playing. Bummed that he's joining the 20-game season/league though and not the 40.

While I'd wish he'd stay, I understand his reasoning for throwing in the towel. Hope Hokkee at least stays on AIM and does some exhibitions occasionally though.
