    Hey Marchawg,
    I love your site!  It looks awesome!   Super clean and polished.  Atomic and I "borrowed" heavily from it for our own exi tracking site, nhl94rocks.  (Doesn't do ELO ratings or anything fancy, just saves stats from 3, 5, or 7 game "exi" series.)

    Yeah, it is tough to get people to try something new.  Our own site is mostly used by me and Atomic, but we are ok with that, because we just built it to track our own exis against each other.

    To further what Chaos said, I know I joined this forum in 2005, yet did not play online until 2015!! I just wanted to find out more about this game and read up on some tips and exchange info with others that shared my enthusiasm.  There are many like I was.

    BUT!! Once King of 94 came to Toronto, my home city, and I jumped into Live Play, I saw online players in person (and how amazing they are), and THEN I wanted t play online.  If Kof94 didn't come to Toronto, I would still probably be sticking to the forums, posting a few times a year, and thinking the whole "online thing" is "too much trouble".

    Now that I am doing online play, yeah!, I am personally interested in funneling people into playing online.  And we need to make that as easy as possible, which is a big part (but not the only reason!) I started this thread.  If we build the community as a whole, and make it better and more friendly as a whole, it naturally follows that the Online Community will grow, too. :)

    (Unfortunately I lost a lot of steam after I started this thread, lol.  But I had a very productive couple weeks.)

    Lol I wrote a huge response in a duplicate thread of this, which got hidden.

    Anyway, more succinctly, congrats to Coach on a well deserved win! He was the better coach in these 7 games and deserved it.  And I absolutely 100% did not mean the "Stop the Music" flick in any way other than "Nice Play", I swear! :)

    Also, geeze I love these writeups that Coach gives.  The dude says almost nothing in Chat during the series, and then writes Moby Dick afterward.  I wish all of the series for everyone earned writeups like this!!

    That is a cool idea!  I like that you are thinking big! :)

    And, I think that would be cool, and would participate in one near me for sure!

    But!

    I do not think you can find 4 guys willing to put on a 64 player tourney, or 1 guy willing to do all 4. (Even with help, which they would get, of course.)  I do not think there is the demand for it, either.  Sorry, just being honest.  It is cool you are willing to contribute with logos and graphics, but the real challenge is coordinating everything at a live venue and making a real event happen.  Probably 100x (1000x?) more work than logos and whatnot.

    Now, if you piggy-backed on existing events, like just having another contest option at an existing bigger Retro Gaming event, that would help a ton.  But I still don't see the demand;  especially out west.

    Tony Granato on the block!

    He is a lightweight, pesky mofo!  And he can be yours!

    Speed/Agility 5/4 and Shooting 3/4 he is a pesky speedster.  OA and DA both 4. (I don't know what that means, but Plabax seems to think it implies something so I am sharing it.)

    Hello!  I am having desync issues, but only with the Plablegs ROM.

    Specifically, the other night I tried the RockemSockem Plablegs bin, and had a desync every time with COach (2 tries) and then J&J (2 tries).  But, then J&J and I thought let's try Classic, and it worked flawlessly.

    Well tonight J&J and I had a repeat, but this time with the "PlablegsTWOexi_v3.bin" exi ROM.  Instant desync after puck drops.  Then we switched to Classic,and had no issue for multiple games.

    Any thoughts?

    Great point.

    If I had my heart set on some dude, and he got auto-picked by a CPU team, I would be bummed and think WTF?

    And hoping this happens soon, cuz I need some lg games for December!!

    Team does not matter to me, but prefer uniforms that stand out (like the yellow LA Kings in PRL)!  But not really a big deal to me...
