Going to allow a few days to test teams out, work on post draft trades. Got some people behind the scenes working on a final ROM, if we can get that done by like Wednesday, can kick off the season then. That would be the earliest it can start.

Rules for ROM: Static, Classic (no wbf & C/B enabled), penalties off but B check enabled, no home/away advantages based on team, no Y button for goalie, juiced goalie stats for all goalies not named Eddy or Roy, Blitz style faster control of goalie via B button & Blitz increased goalie range, hack enabling correct check count (removes post whistle checks from final count). Ok, based on a very fast start of the draft and an even faster run draft, and early trading, I think most of the teams are settled in. Still might have a few trades out there working, but nothing that couldn't close within a few days. SO, I set up a poll to figure out where the league is at. I'd LIKE to bump the start date up so we can get one more league started before the summer gets here. Right now, I'm leaning on Wednesday start date, with trade deadline Sunday night. Going ALL the way till next Friday seems extreme, even by my standards!

This is probably for Raph, but anyone that knows can chime in. I know this is a static ROM. But I want to make sure I understand what that means. In a nutshell, the player attributes are "raw". There are no modifiers (hot and cold, momentum, home and away) so if JR has a 5/5 shot to begin with, it will always be 5/5 Therefore, the Hot and Cold screen is (as always!) useless However, in Edit Screen, the player ratings will be accurate (and unchanging game-to-game) Do I have these things right? Ok vote in/out & then one of 4 options Plablegs 3 is a draft based off of nhl94 rosters, no wbf, static, no penalties w/ B check still fully functional, boosted goalies & quick goalie switch control w/ increase roaming range. We just finished Plablegs 2. Et tu Brute is a draft involving players from all eras mixing up draft pool of players each season w/ nhl94 & other older roms/newer roms, supposed to be a keeper league, & is WBF, static optional, no goalie boosts, . Playoffs will start February 5th, as season ends basically, the previous night. Format will go: 7th seed vs 10th seed has a playin series. 8th seed vs 9th seed has a playin series. These will be labeled Rd 1. Winners of those 2 series will then be re-seeded to form the #7 & the 8th seed. #1 vs #8, #2 vs #7, #3 vs #6, #4 vs #5 for Rd 2. Re-seeding after Rd 2, so it then Rd 3 is: #1 vs #4, #2 vs #3, and then re-seed for home ice Rd 4: #1 vs #2 for finals champ. WE ALSO will have a B formatted playoffs. Going with a coaching change mid season. Chaos will take over the team starting now. Trojan did a good job subbing in for Coach Mac, and carried the team this far, but we now look to Chaos to see if he can bring the ship home. Chaos stated in Discord he'd be on tomorrow night for games.

Ok, season is well under way. Originally setup as a 6 game a week pace starting on Jan 2nd, this is how it was set up. Monday Jan 8th, 6 games Monday Jan 15th, 12 games Monday Jan 22nd, 18 games Monday Jan 29th, 24 games Monday Feb 5th, 28 games (actual deadline is Sunday night at 3 am eastern, which is technically Monday Feb 5th). I will log in Monday morning and post the DNP's and playoff standings. As of the time of this post, no coach is behind schedule, and Tex is of course already finished! As for PLAYOFFS, they will start on that Monday. I will post separately about the actual format that will be used in the coming days.

It's Jan 16th & zero games played. Given that Classic ended with a ton of DNP's, Labs started season under warning, so I've given this as much leg as I can. Love my Labs, but I've got an obligation to the league as a commish. Look for Raph to alter the playoff settings for sure!

Hello! I am having desync issues, but only with the Plablegs ROM. Specifically, the other night I tried the RockemSockem Plablegs bin, and had a desync every time with COach (2 tries) and then J&J (2 tries). But, then J&J and I thought let's try Classic, and it worked flawlessly. Well tonight J&J and I had a repeat, but this time with the "PlablegsTWOexi_v3.bin" exi ROM. Instant desync after puck drops. Then we switched to Classic,and had no issue for multiple games. Any thoughts?

Ok, the POINT of these poll questions is to see where this motley combo of coaches minds are sitting, and make sure as a group, we move in the direction of the majority. Aside from my own final say, I try to listen to the masses and base decisions of this. IF you are in the league, please vote. So I previously posted I was going to start Plablegs 2 if we had enough interest. We never hit the quota I needed at that time so I shelved it but we are good to go now. I will work on combining the posts later on today. I'll list the guys who are already stated they are in, confirm it through Discord & then take new coaches. if you are behind in more than one league, struggling to get games in the league(s) you are currently signed up for, I'll probably not let you in. Im assuming the talent pool will be void of some of the previous elite A's, but we will enjoy our time regardless.

I do love the ROM. Here are two favorite things of mine: 1. With no penalties, the games are so quick you can play an entire 7 game series in record time 2. Nothing more satisfying than knocking out your opponent's star player without getting a penalty! Number one is my fave by a mile. I play quite a few exi series, and I estimated they are > 25% faster without the penalties. Make a big difference in squeezing games in, in a short amount of time. What do you think about the ROM?
