I made the above list based on this thread: http://forum.nhl94.com/index.php/topic/16736-which-teams-have-won-gens-a-in-the-past-10-seasons/ In that thread I asked for the coaches, but when no one answered I figured I could figure it out myself. Some questions: 1. Am I missing any years? (Was there no Spring 2014, for instance? Or Fall 2008?) 2. What the heck happened to Carse? The dude was dominating, and with 3 different teams!! 3. Can anyone tell me when the weight bug, CB checks and any other "game changers" were discovered? I am trying to see if this impacted anything? (Maybe they weren't game changers if they didn't?) 4. Any way for me to go back before Spring 2008? Or was that the first year a Classic ever happened?

Is ti possible to add the winning coaches to that list? I am curious who has the most wins, and if the best coaches can dominate with different teams (I am sure we all have favorites).

Congrats JV and Labs! 4 Game sweep of Chicago? I would like to know how Labs shut down CHI's offensive firepower? What was the BOS vs TOR playoff like? Did it go 7 games?

Thanks for the reply. You mentioned "If you have slow, fat defenseman w/ high def awareness...', so are you confirming that high Defensive Awareness translates to stay-at-home defense? Relatedly, will a high Offensive Awareness translate to defensemen going on the attack more? (So in desiring stay-at-homers, a low OA and high DA are key?)

Hello and Good Day! I have noticed some teams I control have a tendency to keep a defensive shape (which I like!) and other teams sometimes suffer from Red Sea Syndrome, where they decide to part like the Red Sea and generously grant free access to my net to attacking forwards. Or sometimes they have pinched so far forward I am open to breakaways and 2 and 3 on nones happening repeatedly. Why? Is this a matter the Defensive Awareness of my defenders? Or more a matter of my D having high Offensive awareness, and wanting to pinch? Or perhaps speed is a factor, and I should have fat and slow tortoises on D that would rather not, or cannot, skate to the other end of the rink? In short, if I want stay at home defensemen, what must I do game-play-wise (never pinch?), or what attributes should I look for when deciding who gets ice time?

Can someone explain how these lines work? I was expecting PP lines and PK lines? How does this translate: 1. LW1-C1-RW1 (Extra Att) 2. LW2-C2-RW2 (Xtra) 3. LW3-C3-RW3 Is the Line #1 the usual lineup of forwards? When does Line #2 kick in? Or is this all "one line", and when C1 is out, C2, will replace him? (And if C2 is out too, C3 replaces him?) Sorry for the newb question, but I need more info.

Hello, I am loving the draft and really looking forward to playing the season!! Thanks, Skip! I just wanted to see if others were having problems with the preseason version 3 and 4? Last night I tried playing with Sicarius Fulgur and Jer_33, and in both instances, we could not play a single game. There were instant desynchs as soon as the puck was dropped, or soon after. We tried many combinations: me hosting, they hosting, old Kailera, new Kailera, NVLpreseasonV3.bin, NVLpreseasonV4.bin, Firewall off, rebooting, etc., etc., we could not get one playable game. After multiple failed attempts with Jer_33, we loaded up a game of Classic to test, and played a full game flawlessly the 1st try. I am not saying there is a problem with the ROMs. But I am saying *maybe* there is, and asking if anyone else is having problems like I described? (Instant desynch at faceoff.)
