Kerry
Hi everyone, We have been fans of your site for a while now, and have recently just done our podcast on the best games of 1993. Obviously NHL '94 was included and "Cut our Crust", we also gave your site a plug as well. I just thought I'd drop you all a line in case you wanted to check it out. If you like the episode then check out past podcasts and join in on our discussions. I hope you enjoy it. http://nerdballoon.com/podcast/ep08-lettin-clappers-go Edited April 21, 2009 by Kerry

Kerry
nhl94 was playable on, i think, NHL06 on the PS2? Yes I believe so...but before the jersey code came out for NHL'09 I had read on more than a few forums that people believed the code was used to unlock a playable version of '94. Although when the code was released and it in fact was not true, I was pretty disappointed. I still thought it was cool they had a '94 control style option however. It's funny you mention that we talked Snes. About a few weeks after we recorded that podcast, Ben and I put some time into the Gens version. We both agreed that the audio did not compare to the Snes (as was the case with many Gens games) but the gameplay was much tighter...and that's where it counts. Ps. It was actually the best games of 1993, I was so caught up in the '94 hysteria I lost my head for a second. clockwise
'94 can use all the glamour shots it can get, since all EA hockey games thereafter are just a long grocery cart chain. Shame you couldn't get a expert correspondent like me on the air to prank call a Chinese restaurant and ask if they have tonight's matchups... Maybe next time. halifax
Nerdballon...you should interview clockwise...he's done the nhl94 2 on 2 site and most recently the nhl91 site...and has done countless videos posted on you tube. Basically...Clockwise rides the Awesome train wherever he goes.
