Bob Kudelski
I'm new to these forums and will be joining a couple SNES leagues. One thing I noticed is that there is no draft league for SNES. Are there plans to have a draft league for SNES? Has there been any interest in doing one? It must be a lot of work, but I think it would be pretty awesome. It would definately be fun...but SNES doesnt have an nhl94 editor like genesis does...everything would be done through hex editing...which is painfully slow. Bob Kudelski
Ah I see. I didn't realize the editor was only for genesis. I dont even want to know what hex editing is.

Genesis' NHL old school editor (driving your car to work) Hex Editing (pushing your car to work)
shaftman
The draft league seems really super fun and we should do it. Now....this is a LONG shot, but i have a realllly good programmer friend who might be able to make editing snes easier...no promises but ill ask him. also ive seen the hex editing, doesnt seem like rocket science, just alot of patience. so i lend my hand to the editing responsiblity and anything else that needs help if anyones willing to start the league up. ( i know i am)
shaftman
I must admit im very, very confused at the moment.... I was just checking out the game editing section from the home page...and its all tutorials for hex and tile programs...but its all for gens. Wheres the snes stuff? also, i thought it was this style of editing that made the snes painful to edit. (hex) but it seems thats what gens is using aswell. How is gen easier? if they are both using hex editors? what am i missing? someone unconfuse me pleeaaassse!

Xstioph
Where did all these SNES guys come from? I've got a friend that's a programming wizard and "we" began work on an editor during a weekend around Christmas, and it was just amazing watching how easy he made it look. But I rarely see him and now he moved even further away so there won't be any progress there (he's not into NHL 94, so he won't be doing anything about it and I don't know enough). A draft league wouldn't be hard, only time consuming.
