GDL 4 Final Week Update

It looks like things are progressing very nicely so far, seven people have finished their schedules already and most everyone else is on the verge of completion. As of this post only flamingpavelbure and dmac are below the 48 game thresh hold to keep their teams for GDL 5. There are two new rules concerning the 48 game mark that just seem to make good sense that need to be added.

1. Any player who finishes under 48 games automatically is DQ'd from the playoffs

2. Any player who has games unplayed against someone who did not reach 48 games are automatically granted wins.

These rules reward people who play their games, which is my goal.

The deadline still is and will be next sunday night, the playoffs will be started right after the season ends. Playoff rounds will be given exactly one week to be played, so in essence, the playoffs should last 4 weeks at most.

The playoff picture in the Lesser conference is nearly clear, while the Barr conference is still a mess.

There will be a playoff edition rom this season, the only change so far is the overtime period has been set to 99:59 so we can avoid the problem of a tied game. All teams in the playoffs will be required to use this rom.
