  1. Line changes would be so awesome and id love it. but its useless with a juiced rom.

Unless there was a special line change rom, where each team was balanced with weak-medium-strong players. (each team having different balance)

So there is still the element of strategy with your lines depending who you face, but theres no weak teams with dis-advantages like the classic rom.

Would take alot of time tho, planning a perfectly balanced team for every team but with different aspects.

    like

Team A strong checking line weak scoring line

Team B strong scoring line weak checking line

still balanced...just differently....anyways you get the idea

Still want a draft league tho..

  2. Congratulations on your struggle to finally eliminate the 8th seed in the first round- what an accomplishment.

No one is afraid of the Habs..but everyone is afraid of

    Crosby

    Malkin

    Hossa

    Malone

    Rutuu

all this time off they're getting fat and lazy.

and out of 4 games during the season montreal is up on them 3-1

    so im not worried.

  3. hmm.. vb (visual basic) runtime files? .NET? I'm on XP so can't tell if it's a Vista issue. If anyone else has problems with it please say so and I'll take it down and you'll have to wait for DaDonch to upload the installer version.

    It says....

    Run-Time error '339'

Component 'TABCTL32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly

registered: a file is missing o r invalid

    press ok

    everything closes.

i think its vista cause in the instructions it says this is supposed to happen and everything is supposed to run fine.

  4. Alright, I got an idea for series scoring. It's not very complex, but I'll highlight a couple of important ratios that I wanted to include:

    Six-game Series, 1-2-2-1 home/away format.

    4-0 series win = 12 points

    4-1 series win = 11 points

    4-2 series win = 10 points

    3-3 series draw = 6 points

    2-4 series loss = 5 points

    1-4 series loss = 4 points

    0-4 series loss = 3 points

    COMMENTS:

The ratio between winning a sweep and losing one is 4:1.

The ratio between winning a close series and losing one is 2:1.

The ratio of two drawn series is 1:1, of course.

The ratio of a full-points win to a draw is 2:1.

15 points are given out for a decided series, 12 for a drawn series.

I COULD make drawn series 7 points each.

    Alright, open for suggestions.

    :)

Why am i always confused by the systems metz comes up with

  5. Alright cool. didnt know all that information.

well a SNES draft league would be really really great. i keep saying it lol

And apparently its not that hard to make an editor which will allow us to do so *fingers crossed*

  6. Hey guys

I have mentioned my programmer friend and him possibly making a new editor for snes, so we can have draft leagues and such.

i told him the program would need to be able to change: Player names, Ratings, stats, and Rosters.

    Did i miss anything?

He also looked over how the rom was Coded, and had this question.

"in the tutorial for game editing it explains that if you shrink the players name from 11 characters to 9 characters you must add 2 characters elsewhere in the roster to make up for the difference, that would imply that if you increased the players name from 11 to 13 you would need to take away 2 characters elsewhere in the roster, is this correct? and if so where is it, in the hexcode, can you change the roster's size to allow for larger names in the roster?"

So, would be great to get an answer, so he can get started :P
