  1. Carse, you know how I know you're not asian? Because you blow at math. EA76 not EA66. But you know how I know you're gay? Because your IM is Snoboarder... the powder on those slopes must be f'ing amazing out there where???? Oh yeah, PITTSBURGH! yeeeeah (said in Lumberg voice)
  2. It's pretty funny how much gayness Carse is filled with. Wags, do you know how I know you're the most gay? Because as gay as most of your comments are, this is the first thread where you suspiciously didn't actually have anything to say... almost like you were trying to hide something... almost as if you were keeping that secret in a closet of sorts... perhaps the same closet that stores your alarming amount of mesh muscle shirts, nipple clamps and pastel hot pants.
  3. Hokkee, you know how I know you're gay? B/c you use smiley face emoticons to communicate most of what you're saying... Especially when you use the BJ emoticon... open wide
  4. on the US side, this weekend iss Mem Day Weekend. I can't imagine there's a lot of people that will be around. That's why I am trying to finish up tonight. Starting tomorrow, I don't think I'll be around until Tuesday of next week.
  5. Skool and I started this up the other day. He was going to start this thread but I guess he didn't have time. He's got one on me that he can now post. Of course this is all meant in good fun. Something to lighten the mood around the closing of the season. Anyway... Carse, you know how I know you're gay? Because you ask me to play our 2 games and then when you squeak by in OT in the first game, all of a sudden you have to go to bed. Sorry Carse, you get the double today -- Carse, you know how I know you're gay? Because when Mike didn't post your game, you said you weren't playing any other games until he logged it. ...and b/c you fantasize of the soft melodies of Celine Dion and Kenny G.
  6. Alright Hurray, that was pretty damn funny. Monkey, I'll be on later looking for you... I can't deal with this grounding stuff so don't let your mom catch you pleasuring yourself to internet p0rn again until after the season. ;-)
  7. Damn Wags, where the hell do you live where your power is always going out?
  8. GensDraftLeague Game#1314 edisaurusrex(San Jose) vs EricAnthony76(Chicago) Hey D, Ed and I played our 2 games last night, however, this still shows up in my schedule when I log in. I think it's showing up in Ed's as well. I saw this game recorded on the recent games part of the home page last night as well so I know it was logged. Could you please fix when you get a chance? Thanks.
  9. And Jay, sorry if it appeared that I was coming down on you. I was frustrated b/c I was trying to plan games with people for so long and the one week I really wasn't around, it appeared that a lot of people were on that I needed to play. Again, it's tough for me, b/c my schedule is limited to the weekends (less and less b/c summer obligations are booking me up) and the times listed in my prior message. The thing about Monkeyjuice that upsets me most is that he is posting on the General Forum which means he is around. It's just a respect issue, or lack thereof, for me. The least he could do is post something on the GDL forum to everyone saying what's been going on and if he plans on still playing. He bitched about how bad he was getting beat and then disappeared. And now we're dealing with the question of him coming or not coming back. It's bullsh*t this process takes so long but I understand b/c you want to give people the benefit of the doubt. That's why it needs to be spelled out in the beginning with what I wrote about earlier. I'll try to come up with a model soon and I'll distribute it to a couple people like Hurray, AJ, etc to see what they think. I'm sure there will have to be a common agreement to approve the %s but better to have the expectations set before a season than have to deal with disappointing situations like this every couple weeks.
  10. Matt, I think you should come up with a time deadline or schedule for the playoffs (you have plenty of league experience and you know what's fair), present it to D and then us.
  11. Alright, first of all... Stan, keep it to yourself, I know I have games against you or [place next coaches name here since you're leaving after your 3rd day in the league]. Secondly, Jay, I don't like having the excuse of the league is trying to wrap up the season. Granted, I wasn't on a lot last week or at all over the weekend, but everytime I looked on there, it was the same couple people and you weren't one of them. For a couple weeks in a row, I was on there every night trying to schedule games and no one was around and now there's a surge to get things rolling. I'll be around this week here and there, if people want to play, the best times... correction, the only times to get me are between 6-10 CST. ...................................................................... This just reinforces the fact that we need some sort of guideline to adhere to. Example... By week 'x' in the season, you need to have completed % of your scheduled games. This guideline should be released at the beginning of the season and should be timed for every 2 weeks and after midway through the scheduled season, there should be 1 week frequency displayed. If you fall behind by a % of games relative to the % of your responsible scheduled games played, there should be a color status indicator on the Standings tab next to your teams name (or a schedule that is released on our forum by Commissioner Hurray on a weekly basis). Green = Up to schedule Yellow = Falling behind Red = Up for replacement If Red status, that coach should have x number of days after he has fallen into the red to pick up his games or be replaced from someone on the waiting list. Of course, special circumstances for falling behind will have to be taken into consideration. Hurray will have to determine if it is just cause and inform D if we have to make any coaching adjustments. Feedback please.
  12. Damn, 9 league games last night by Stan... impressive young skywalker.
  13. That's a great idea. I hope this is the route D decides to go.
  14. I voted for BigChiefJay... I always see that guy online. I would have voted Jamonica but he said his time would be limited in the near future.
  15. Well, it was actually the way you went about playing and some of the subtleties that seem to be more apparent with the veteran styles that are played on this site. Also, the way you just chose draft teams and didn't even look at their lineups, but still managed to be extremely competitive. However, don't get me wrong... I'm not saying this should be a reason why you don't get in, I was just throwing that thought out there.
  16. But seriously, I think Jay or Matt would be great choices to lead that up. Congrats Matt! First order of business... who's replacing JJ? Second order of business... how do we get Wags to stop beating his kids with the family cat?
  17. Jay: as for hokkee's nominations. Id nominate matt over myself in a heart beat, hes honest, has senority, dedicated, fair, can make his own decisions, and he is trusted. I cant say i share those same qualities, and if i do, they aren't on as high of a level as his. Matt: Wow, thanks Jay. I appreciate the comments, although you are right up there with me. ....... Hmmm, after reading that, all I have to say is it must be springtime b/c LOOOOOOOVE IS IN THE AIR! Jeeethuth Chrythst!
  18. I still think he's a veteran guy with a new facade.
  19. 39 games in and JR has broken the ole 66's point record from last season. I thought about it for a little bit last night and I came down to the conclusion that it's an accomplishment, but doesn't have the wow factor due that, and lets be honest folks, it's JR. What I was really caught up thinking about was what an amazing feat it is that the level of play has dramatically ramped up ever since we made the turn into the 20 game mark. Some guys have really stepped it up this season and I just want to take a chance to thank them. There has been some great dedication and willingness to learn that has made you guys a threat to anyone that plays you. I constantly welcome the challenge and congratulate you for all your effort and time you've invested becoming an NHL 94 force. It's guys like you that make me keep wanting to play this game. Thank you again.
  20. I think there should only be a 1 person committe. Of course, I can't see having any other person than Hokkee leading the charge. The caviat is that every official decision that's made must be broadcast over the internet while he wears his tiara, his favorite pastel colored halter top (obviously a minimum 5 inches of mid-drift which I would imagine is not too tough to find in his wardrobe), his all too comfortable Green Bay Packer zubas while holding a Triton. Long live Hokkee!
  21. Jamonica has been in here for the past few weeks trying to see if there's any space. I see him online a lot too.
  22. Skool, you can't get upset with Wags. He lives in a world where logic, good nature, sportsmanship and most likely even Autobots don't exist. And I ask you what kind of world is that? Somewhere you don't want to even visit. Don't sweat it. Good luck with finals.
  23. ...or who are total tools. *cough* Wags *cough* Ok, I'm kidding around there. What about Jamonica? I saw the list and I don't know too many. Well, I did see one that popped out at me... Mr. JacketsNash. And although I'm sure Jackets is a nice guy, I'm not putting up with that ridiculous beast of a signature of his gay uncle everytime he posts something in the draft forum. I think most of them are in the 07 league too so many probably lost interest. I do know that Jamonica wants in and he's been keeping tabs on this league throughout the season. He gets my vote. Oh wait, I don't have a vote, I'm not part of the Secret Committee but you guys know where I stand. Have a great weekend!
