  3. NHL 14 Genesis Draft League

    Hey guys! I thought of a league you guys would like, a NHL 14 Genesis Draft League. You can sign up through this forum by picking the team you would like to use, one player from that team you would like be guaranteed to with out having to draft them. This league isn't just a GENS draft league with new rosters though, each team has a legend that played for them (Ok, maybe didn't play for them, but just go with it ok!). The game rules are 5 Minute Periods, Penalties on and offsides off, and Manual goalie. The draft will be 2 weeks, from 7/27/13 - 8/3/13. The season will consist of having 4 games a week, for a soon to be set amount of time. To report a game summary, send a screenshot of the player stats and game summary to snipersean33@gmail.com.

  14. The Random But Makes Sense Rom

    Hey guys! I am working on a rom where the teams are funny but make sense have ideas for some of the teams.

    1. Youtube Legends (Bacon Country, Johnny Superbman)
    2. Best of NHL (Year). Exactly what is says. The cover athlete(s)(in Europe for some games there is a exclusive cover athlete)

    Give me any ideas about more teams. For NHL 94-13 Top Players I will do every other year. So there is 11 spots taken in all.

    is there a file named kailleraclient.dll in the gens folder you downloaded? if not, you'll need to download that file and copy & paste it into your gens folder

    I took the emulator out of the folder. I am so stupid!

    Actually I had a finished game but restarted because I wanted to use 94 instead of 93, so almost all week, when I wasn't at summer camp, I was non stop working on this rom

    Remember that crazy rom ideas page? I think that nhaha 13 is 93.

    and you did a great job. you definitely don't have to take my advice on the ratings scare, but I think something like what you described would be great. you'd probably want to give decent passing and good puck control to lots of players, or you'll have the puck bouncing off of skates all of the time, but things like agility, speed, awarenesses, checking, and reputation can be held pretty low to make it more realistic. unless you guys are the freaking tits, in which case ignore this advice and fly all over the ice like maniacs. I'm still working on getting a Genesis emulator to actually function correctly, but if I do, I would very much enjoy playing this game no matter what you do with it from here. you have done well, so far. I wish we had you on the SNES side of things! did you share your '93 ROM?

    If it's a playoffs edition I want to do, turn up my aggression to a 99 (I got like 200 penalties and have only got a too many men before that even though I was on the bench (my dad is head coach)). But if my windows 8 starts working on snes editors, I will definitely make a snes rom. Also I found a site that generates random names so that will replace Dover Back-Up, Hollis Defenseman, etc.
