should be done tonight or very early tomorrow morning.

happy 37th.

I'm with Bobby.

hi. have fun.
-
grumble grumble SNES needs a Smoz grumble grumble Gumbel To Gumbel.
-
the game doesn't know how to separate shots/goals made by the goalie from those against the goalie. it tallies them in the only related goalie statistic slots and that screws up the math done to calculate stars. you can get a lot of weird stars by using the goalie to shoot/score and/or by limiting the only shots made in the game to the goalie(s). call in the backups for added "fun."
-
airlines are tying their best to prevent this now that it is a commonly known trick. they may void your whole trip or something similarly awful if they catch on.....
-
cool. have fun, kids!
-
this is an excellent thread and it should be expanded as much as possible. thanks for the great discussion, duders. add to it, y'all!
-
thanks, Skip.

cool. these stories are always fun. be safe and represent the flow.com. plan your victory speech ahead of time.

oh, and don't clam up; clam down.

no mercy, no excuses, no whining, no throwing controllers.
don't like quirks? switch games.
-
so... you only do it on sites using this font?! I suspect that you might be weird.

goalie disruption of faceoff = cool
goalie disruption of penalty shot = not cool
stand-back-up button use = cool
pausing for disruption of play = not cool
pass shot = cool
throwing your controller and glitching the system/game = not cool
-
it's one of the great things about this game... there's so much you can do to anger the Hokkeefans that don't know/like your action. timing pauses to disrupt is the only real cheap/cheating move I can come up with right now. anybody got any others? say "pass shot," I dare you.

what?....I am the creator of Royameadow and Co.: A group made back in I999 (but not launched until 2003) that is based solely on the desire of delivering Variety based entertainment towards its audience....
welcome. is your '1' button broken?
-
it's a good point about the stand-back-up button; if pushing the net off is no-go....
so many things become "not the way it was intended" and therefore cheap and/or cheating. "you are only intended to do this move. hey! you can't do that move!"
whaa.

great update. thanks.

this is very interesting. this seems like a very difficult project. I think you have a ton of problems greater than graphics ahead. I'd be willing to attempt to help with stuff, assuming you get a lot of the core ready and show an ability to overcome a variety of gamemaking problems, demonstrating a clear vector of completion likelihood. please share a lot and often!
-
goalies that get shutouts will very often get a star, based on the way the three stars of the game are calculated. you can even let in one and get it, if the shots against are high but there's little/no scoring. good stuff, Bryan.
-
how about if it's "fair" strategy on defense? there's no penalty, but would you get beaten up if you kept doing it while playing somebody in person?
-
finally somebody who plays twenty-minute periods. have you ever played the SNES versions of these games? if not, it could give you a whole new series to explore.
