Godsmack2k6
Hello all, I was wondering if any could assist me on bypassing my router because I'm unable to play certain teams because of Router issues. I tried just plugging my lan cable directly into my modem but for some reason I did not have internet access after that. I think I may have to set some software settings as well, such as automatically obtain an IP address etc.. which I have'nt tried yet. Any help is apprecitaed! Thanks alot! Great league!!! Evan
After you plug your network cable right into the modem, restart your computer so your computer can grab the right IP address. That should work fine as a quick fix. -Evan

Nick
you need to find out what port the emulator uses for udp/tcp, and open them or forward them on your router
aepurniet
you need to find out what port the emulator uses for udp/tcp, and open them or forward them on your router DMZ is an option too. give yourself a static IP and set that up as the DMZ on the router. you will have a direct connection to the internet after that. its not very secure, so dont run any silly servers (like telnet, remote desktop)
Xstioph
Check http://www.portforward.com/ and see if you find your router/modem there. They have great coverage. Good luck.
Smack
Typically the port used is 7845. There is also a guide on this site that might be of assistance to you. http://nhl94online.com/html/snes-zbattle-howto.asp For security purposes I wouldn't really suggest going straight to your modem or DMZ but if you must for league play just make sure you switch back after that.
