smozoma
It's possible to stream your games through the Discord chat server. This only works on Windows 8/10. The viewer limit is somewhere between 10-50 viewers (normally 10, they're slowly raising it to 50 during the pandemic) Instructions: Install Discord on your computer: https://discordapp.com/download Run your emulator (it auto-detects RetroArch; I don't know about Gens or ZSnes) In Discord, below the channel list on the left, you'll see "RetroArch" (or other emulator) and a computer monitor icon. Click the monitor icon. A "Go Live" window will pop up. Select one of the "Game #" channels, then click the "Go Live" button. Your stream is now live To join someone's stream: Join the appropriate "Game #" channel, at the bottom of the channels list I get audio feedback, so you probably want to wear headphones or figure out an option to mute the local stream playback. Anyone have tips for getting the most out of this feature? In case a video is easier to follow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hERw6PsMxo
PenguinFan1985
@smozoma Do you know if it works with Dosbox? Edited April 24, 2020 by PenguinFan1985

Butt it's probably possible to force it to show any window. But it auto detects retro arch and displays the option prominently rather than you needing to dig down into the menus to turn it on.

IE Smoz competes against Chris 0 in Genesis. Smoz streams his screen to the Discord server feature just mentioned. Trojan and Angryjay capture the game footage into OBS and stream on the preferred gaming platform. Users are then invited to chat in the stream on said platform, and the general public can see this as well.
