don16086
Sega CD systems in the US Sega CD systems (Mega CD) in the UK At Half.com Ebay store Ebay is a obvious place to go look for a Sega CD system but once you have played 94 on it you will know, 94 junkies like me and a few others on this site know as well that the CD version is worth getting your hands on. Playing the game online via the ROM version is awesome but you owe it to yourself to get an original system. Plus they do make a few other good titles for the CD attachment. aqualizard
Hey Don, thanks for prompting us to take a look. I have always heard that the Sega CD version of NHL 94 was the best, but I have never played it. When looking at the Sega CD systems on Ebay, I noticed some of them have the CD to the right of the Genesis, and some of them have it underneath. Are there other variations too? Does it make any difference WHAT Sega CD you buy, or are they all pretty well the same thing -- and play NHL 94 equally well? Thanks, aqualizard a.k.a. blueapricot416
don16086
The Sega CD unit here: http://www.revolution.lv/i/art/2734-vgh_sega_cd_1992.jpg and the unit here: http://museoretro.com.ar/jpg/segacd2.jpg will both play NHL 94 just as well. Get whichever one you can get your hands on. They also make a few other hard to find units but the most common (if i can say that) is called a JVC X'Eye http://www.estarland.com/images/products/35/18435/27934.jpg That one plays all Genny games and Sega CD games but it doesn't work with the 32x. They have some more info on the system here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sega_cd

don16086
Just either model of game, it's way better to buy the system and play the Sega CD version. I myself don't even play the game on my computer because it's hard to set up a game with my friends.

(I think playing on a real Sega is 10x better that an emulator). Lemme know, plz.
