matthurray
I think this has been discussed before, but here's my take: 1) one really popular method that is being used by more and more guys is the poke check / trip. hound the guy with the puck, press B, and the guy with the puck goes down without any referee actually caring about NHL rules 2) don't get aggressive with checking. sometimes this causes you to move out of a good position, and your opponent will have a clear lane for a scoring opportunity 3) clog the middle. sit in the center of the ice between the two circles to intercept one-timers and to check guys trying to come across for either slappers or crease-cutters. the A, B, and C buttons are all great choices here to put pressure on a guy taking a slapper. I use the A button to hook a guy so he won't get a shot off. the less shots your opponent takes, the fewer chances they have to score. CamKneely
This wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that I scored on you with Felix Potvin yesterday, would it?
