Go ahead and play games, and upload the save states to the database. If you have any problems logging in, let me know and I'll get you set up. The link for the GDL Site is HERE. I think there is one on the downloads section on nhl94.com. version 1.62 or something. I know I use GENS v2.12b. But I don't rememeber where exactly I got it from, I think there was a link on the forums somewhere. I dont think the downloads section of the GDL site ever had anything on it. smozoma Posted November 12, 2007 Report Share Posted November 12, 2007 If they are using the gens+ emulator, they need to go into the options somewhere and disable savestate compression. I think the problem most likely is that the teams were moved around on the rom, so they are not in the expected order in the extractor. DaDonch44 Posted November 13, 2007 Author Report Share Posted November 13, 2007 The problem is the order in which the teams are in between NHL 94 and the GDL ROM. 94-------GDL ANA-00-ANA BOS-01-BOS BUF-02-BUF CGY-03-CGY CHI-04-CHI DAL-05-COL DET-06-DAL EDM-07-DET FLA-08-LA HFD-09-MIN LA -10-MTL You will see 2 games uploaded on the site one is ANH vs. BOS and ANH vs. LA (sorry hokkee and KingsCup). I was trying to figure out what was wrong. Each team on a save state gets assigned a number: 00 = ANA 01 = BOS 02 = BUF etc. so the first game worked fine b/c ana and bos are not out of order. the 2nd game was supposed to be MTL vs. ANA but i got the error. I went through the list of games on the schedule and finally it allowed me to upload on LA. in 94 LA is the 11th Team so they would be have the number (10). in the GDL ROM, MTL is the 11th team. so the conflict is the order.
