We are very excited to announce the dates and location for the King of 94-8 at Freeplay Toronto! An Arcade bar which has a lot of great tiles including some hockey ones like “Hit the ice” and “NHL 2 on 2 challenge.” It also has a Chexx Bubble hockey table. The owner is a big fan of nhl’94 and played many of the Sega hockey titles growing up. I appreciate the responses (and glad it's something that not just I have happening). It's just a restart, no big deal, really, but wanted to bring it up to help. I'm not on Discord, sorry it's on here. Now that you mention penalties on/off... I had a penalty called and when the player was going to the box, his number went to "??" and everything went crazy and screen filled with mostly big black pixels. First time it's happened. Again, not complaining, just trying to help with this great game. I'm glad you're aware of the little bugs and are doing your best.

This was fun to read 5 years later. I could have definitely done a better job explaining as I found it hard to follow some items...and I'm the one who friggin' wrote it! Perhaps @UltraMagnus, you can continue to post updates and other items related to anything you find in season mode and data. I'll also have to re-check my last local notes. You never know who can see this and get inspired!

Sorry I was not precise enough. Actually I worked these days on an old macks hack NHL 95 rom, with 2008/2009 rosters in it. I can change most of the pictures, but for those with shared tiles, I can't. You also have repeated pictures for the added teams in this rom, like Minnesota, Atlanta etc. So for example you'll have same pictures for both Anaheim and Minnesota. But I suppose that it's impossible to fix this?

Last night I fixed the Stanley Cup image problem on the playoff tree. The cup doesn't rotate anymore, it's now a static image. Well technically, it's still rotating 5 images, but the 5 images are all the same! So I reduced the size of the cup from 612 tiles to 124, saving a huge amount of space and graphic memory. The graphic memory was the cause of my issue after I expanded the banner image for the extra teams. So this is now my current working ROM. All the graphic hacks are done (I think) and the ROM is expanded to 34 teams that can be used in exhibition play. NOW, my next task is to start tackling the season data, trade players, etc. Current ROM: NHL95_34TM_beta_05c.bin
