I for one like the idea of playing with line changes. People just have to not over do it on the speed bursts and play a bit more defensively. I would like to play with offsides ON too but i understand with lag and all why people don't.

When the time comes a few months from now ill be looking for some help with rosters/stats. If anyone is up to the challenge please let me know. Some changes in the new version: -Better looking team logos. -Ron Bar has been fired from EA sports and replaced with Gary Thorne. -6 all star teams base on the best players from each conference.

Cool thanks! A small update: I have already started the 2008 version which will be 3 different roms(all 59 teams) . I'm pairing up up the 6 divisions so its going to take a me awhile. I really wish there was a way to just put all 59 teams in one game it would save me some time. I should have it out sometime in the summer of 2008.

I thought you fellow college hockey fans would like to know my game was a big success over at the OSCHO boards. Between here, hfboards and OSCHO forums i have almost 300 downloads on the game. Game Play Preview!

So i started hardcore beta testing last night. I already found a bunch of graphical errors, most i have fixed already. I also decided i was not happy with how easy the game was. So i messed around with stats a bit. I bumped up all the defensive awareness skill for each player and cut passing skills a bit. I wasn't set back at all and in fact this might be released this weekend! I really hope the few others that follow College hockey enjoy this rom as it has been A LOT of work for a person who knew nothing about hacking roms just a few months ago.

It sure is A LOT of work. I have much respect now for the peps who make these updated roms for us to play. Id like to make another NCAA rom right after the next frozen four. Maybe you would like to help me out with it?

shouldnt have to wait much longer! Its always good after finishing a project as big as this to step away from it after its finished for a little while and then come back to it and do some last minute touch ups and tweeking. And thats what i'm doing. Id say look for its release in about 3 weeks.

Well i wanted to base the game around the frozen four and thats only single game elimination but it seems no one knows how to do these things or just doesn't want to help so i'm going to try to figure it out on my own. If i cant figure this stuff out by next month ill just release it the way it is. I'm beta testing it now making sure everything is up to my standards and doing minor touch ups so the game will be released really soon either way.

I'm all done with my final four NCAA rom. Got all graphics done and all rosters using real players names and stats. The only things i want to do with the rom before i release it is: -to take out the option to play best of 7. I just want single game playoff mode, shoot out and regular season -i also want to take out the picture of the cup in the playoff tree. If someone knows how to change the graphic on the cup that the players hold id like to change that too but its not as important to me as the others. PLEASE if anyone knows how to do these things id really be grateful for the information.

Most videos i see around here are of "sweet" goals. So i figured i would post a nice save i recently made in the game. My self being a goalie i find more satisfaction in good saves. The way i play NHL94 against the computer is i refuse to do any crease cuts at all and when the computer crosses my blue line i MUST take control of my goalie. It makes the games a lot more interesting. If anyone else has any video of some nice saves they have made i would love to see them.

NCAA Frozen Four 2007 Well after much work i have finally finished my first rom. I wish i could say it was easy but it wasn't . I now have a lot more respect for those who edit theres roms for all of us to play. I must have spent 100 hours using the search function on this site to learn how to do this stuff and i still concider my self a newbie at nhl94 editing. The game is not as visualy pleasing as most of the other roms people have made but im still happy with my first results. If anyone has any pointers/tips for me id love to hear them as long as they are given in a postive way. To my knowledge this is the first College hockey rom that has been completed so i hope all you other ncaa fans enjoy the game. I plan on making one next year too. Now that i got some idea what I'm doing i plan on adding more teams for next years version. There are still a few things i hope to figure out for next years version. I really want to find the stanley cup graphic in the playoff tree and edit that out. So if anyone knows how to do that PLEASE tell me how.
