  1. Looks like SNES uses 4bpp+composite for most of its graphics, but how to use Tile Molester otherwise is beyond me. I think I can edit the star into a circle, but other than that, not sure how to edit graphics. Also, I think the logos are compressed. Anyone have any hints or tips?

Palettes are in the SNES thread.

  2. Yes, once for each league. You have to set up draft orders for both leagues. Pay attention to this:

I should also note - if you want to register for both GENS and SNES leagues, and you fall into Category 2, you just need to answer NO to "Have you registered for a league before" for the FIRST league you register to. Answer YES the second time through.

    All 20 teams are required? Seriously? S e r i o u s l y ?

  3. Follow the directions for Category 2. You will fill out the registration form and pick "No" for the question "Have ever registered for a league before?"

I will put the stats up from Spring 09 season soon.

I can do a database dump for you if you like. Would be easy.

Note to everyone else: i have nothing to do with this.

  4. I am suprised you feel that way. I got into hockey because of '94 actually. Couldn't care less before.

As for MLS, I saw Hull City play Bolton in the premiership over the weekend and it was no better than MLS.

It is nice to have a local team to root for where I can go the games

I'm the same way, I'm not an NHL fan but for '95 PC.

MLS is great when you have a team to root for, usually a local one, because the local fandom takes over the quality of play. For neutrals though there just aren't enough storylines yet. It's getting better.

  5. Ahh, that was it!

I edited my last playoff matchup to include BUF/OTT/TB (teams in the Blitz league that aren't supposed to be playable in the playoffs), and that stopped the freezing.

Glad to be of service =)

  6. I find it absolutely hysterical that anyone would/could be this excited for a Tim Horton's. Here in the Metro Buffalo area, there are two on every corner and I mean it. The coffee sucks by the way.

You kidding? The only bad part about when I had to move out of Michigan was the fact I missed my Tim Hortons. But then again I don't drink any caffeinated beverages.

The chocolate chip muffins are good. And anything maple (duh).

  7. try making sure every team has a spot in the playoffs allocated to them? Otherwise you may come up on a team with no opponent which might crash things.

But again, I'm a SNES guy.

  8. And a here-here for Phoenix - if an Arizonan like yourself wants the team out, that's gotta be a notch in the column for Balsillie.

It has nothing to do with Balsillie and everything to do with common sense. I'd rather see 'em move to the 'peg. We could win the Cup and people would care, but not at a high enough level to put butts in seats every night.

  9. Congratulations to the Spring 2009 Classic champions:

    GENS A: Flamingpavelbure

    GENS B: Icestorm

    GENS C: Wags

    GENS D: IQ25

    SNES : schwartz

All five competitions have been completed, and it's July 6, and the league started late - still I think that's gotta be some sort of record =D

Thanks to everyone again for making this easy on me and for letting me run the league... I hope I did well, but I'm turning the keys back in with the rental car - if it wasn't for you guys, Spring Classic would have been a real clunker to drive.

Stay sportsmanshippy. Best of luck to all of you I've had the pleasure to interact with. Go Flames. And, for the sake of the NHL, move the Coyotes.
