Anyone here use voice chat like Mumble / Ventrilo / Skype etc to communicate with a teammate or to chat during a game instead of typing out text via AIM / Netplay / Hamachi? Useful for teammates or chatting with an opponent. There are certainly times when you don't want to say much during a game or it wouldn't be "PG", but it's easier to say than type. Also if anyone wants any exhibitions or wants to help me learn some 2v2 I'd be grateful. AIM: BATBL18

Well Brass Bonanza by far is the best song in the game, however they never play it after Hartford scores a goal in NHL 94. Instead it is heard at Hartford home games at the start of every period and randomly thoughout play during periods sometimes even one after another with a minor break. Also Brass Bonanza in NHL 94 is played at many other teams games during the course of play.

Yeah Holy Cross is a very good team. I watched games from the Atlantic Hockey and there were some standout teams. If Holy Cross the champion is in it, so should Mercyhurst College as well as Sacred Heart University. As those two schools are way better at hockey than Army and Connecticut as far as hockey. Also Air Force is in their conference this year. So I think that if Army and Uconn are in the game, then Mercyhurst College as well as Sacred Heart University whose teams stood out above the others should be in.

So what are the final teams on the game? Could there possibly be any more additions, maybe a couple?

Well there wasn't an option to select leagues, but because i'm a "rookie" and this is my first year I would hope to be in the B league.. Also I started to register at 12, however 2 tries through Firefox wouldn't register when I clicked the button. Filled out a form with IE, and submitted at like 12:09, with the Hartford Whalers my #1 choice. I think I could get them because they aren't exactly the best team, but it's my team..

No I completely agree. With me being an upcoming "rookie" I have been checking out the site since the early spring. I completely agree with your statement on peoples lack of desire to want to play now. Every few days I come and check out to see if any progress has been made. I know I cannot wait until the next season starts and am pumped. I've already played some "scrimmage" games against some people so at least I can get use to the online play and the adjust to the slight lag at times. I think everyone including all the new members to join next season are itching for it to start soon and get going.

I don't know how possible this is and such, but since we are in control of the team as a General Manager basically what about trading players? Maybe have a trading deadline of the first half of the season, and all trades have to go though the Commisioner or Administrator in this case(Maybe only update the trades or signings for a download once a week so that all trades that occur during the week aren't final until the weekend or something?). However the Commissioner would have to update the rosters/rom for everyone to have them updated. I think it would be good maybe to trade away an extra defender or center to another team to improve my style of play or just help out the team. Just a thought though.

Just wondering when the next planned league is. Summer, Fall, Winter? Also i've noticed that there is a waiting list to play currently, so maybe we can have two different leagues going on at the same time for the next time. Either you can have a veteran and a rookie league or you can just split into two. I know that i am one that is interested in joining an online league for the Genesis. Why you ask? Well because NHL 94 has gotten so many hours from me playing it and it still isn't old. Not only that I want to face some new competition, people that can play. Because currently besides a few random games I'm stuck playing versus the computer which has no difficulty setting. If there is no new league starting a new season soon then there should be some sort of section where everyone that wants to play NHL 94 is at. Because if there is a waiting list, I wouldn't mind playing some of them just to get some good competition.
