  6. I met Jeremy Roenick last night

    Hey Guys,

    It's been a while since I've been around these forums, but after last night I felt obligated to tell you guys this story.

    I went to a celebrity sports dinner last night in Halifax, to see the likes of Walter Gretzky, Roberto Alomar, Anthony Calvillo, "Irish" Micky Ward and our very own Jeremy Roenick speak. When I found out I had a ticket and that Jeremy Roenick was going to be there I immediately thought I needed to get him to sign my NHL 94 cartridge.

    After the meal and the speeches I went up to see him:

    Me: "Jeremy, can you sign my NHL 94 game?"

    JR: "Is this really NHL 94?" as I pass it to him and he looks at it. "This is the best game of all time!"

    Me: "I know, and you're the best cyber athlete of all time!"

    JR signs my game and then we pose for a picture. He asks if he can keep my sharpie and of course I say yes. He says "Thanks a lot" and just before I turn to leave he says "Hey, that's the first one of those I've ever signed."

    Hahaha, it was a very funny experience. I was surprised at how excited he was to sign my NHL 94 game. I thought all you guys would enjoy this story. I now own an authentic copy of the only Jeremy Roenick signed NHL 94 cartridge in the world!

    Hey,

    Sorry i wasn't completely awake today, and I log a wrong order of draft teams in the classic Spring.

    I entered the teams in this order:

    1 2

    3 4

    5 6

    7 8

    9 10

    Here is the right order of teams : 1 Detroit, 2 Chicago, 3 Buffalo, 4 Los Angeles, 5 Winnipeg, 6 St Louis, 7 Dallas, 8 Hartford, 9 NY Rangers, 10 Montreal.

    Can you fix it please ?

    Sorry to hear you're not well.. Get well soon.

    I'll replace you this season in Blitz, but you can have your team back in season 7.

    Don't replace me for the moment please...

    we will see what append...

    I like to play this game...

    it's just in case, you have no news from me in the future...

    Update:

    Game 5: TB 4 @ CHI 3

    Game 6: CHI 5 @ TB 7

    TB wins series 4-2.

    Game 5 saw Roenick get injured for the game in the 1st period, which was a huge break for TB and huge loss for CHI. Game was still very close with the game winning goal being a penalty shot in the 3rd! Bradley deked back and forth, ultimately stuffing a forehand snapper past Belfour. Multiple chances for each team and TB held on as time ran out.

    Game 6: Roenick came back to TB angry and quickly put up 3 goals in the first period, giving Chicago a 3-0 lead. TB called a timeout, and paid off the referees. Simultaneous penalties on Smith and Roenick gave TB a 5-3 advantage with a a few seconds left in the 1st. The start of the 2nd saw another CHI penalty. Two quick scores by TB followed, along with another CHI penalty. A fast 3rd goal, the game was tied 3-3, and everyone was out of the box. The next period and a half saw each team exchange goals back and forth, up to 4-4. TB had put in Kontos (related to

    ?) and went up 5-4 on a Kontos wrister. CHI pressed strong, hitting a post I believe, and the ensuing rush saw Kontos pass to Bradley for a deadly one-timer, putting TB up 6-4. The teams exchanged a pair of goals to make the final score 7-5.

    Great series (the first 4 games were all super-close too, even that misleading 10-4 game 1 was 4-4 in the 3rd I believe). TB got the Roenick injury in game 5 and crooked refs in game 6 that proved to be the difference. Ggs Pearate, great season.

    Toronto awaits...

    Some strange games in the 5 and 6, but I have nothing to say, Kingraph was the best in this series...

    Hey everybodies,

    I don't know if it time for say that, or where to post this message. But I have just waiting until I played the playoffs series in B.

    I have actually some health problem since 3 weeks, and don't know how longer I can play in the Blitz or in the new nhl 2012 season...

    So if you don't heard about me for a moment, just replace me...

    It's my favorite game, and I'am very sad about that...

    But I will try to continue if I can
