  5. What I know, is that sometime I see the danger coming, I know how to make a save, but I can't, just because of the delay... I'm definitively for the Button Goalie. I'm pretty sure that the game would be more interesting and less frustrating. Let's enter in the new Era !
  6. You don't need to use them If you prefer the classic way. The point is that sometime holding B is to long, with the Goalie button you can have faster reactions. You like to use all the way you can find to score, but you are against the possibility to improve the defense. Just strange. Can you give me a good reason for your veto ? + with the goalie button maybe more SNES players would join the league. I see only benefit.
  7. Classic with line changes and offsides on, and Fixed Weight. Goalie Button in addition.
  8. For me the weight bug fix is the priority. It can resolve the CB Check problem by the way. All improvement mentioned above are great. I would add an editing mod, for logo and jersey. With the possibility to create hold team jersey. And a rules option mode would be great, the European rules and Nhl rules are different, so if we can have the possibility to play a cup with just an home and away game with addition of score, and extra time only in the second game if the scores are the same. And Shootout at the end of extra time. The finality would be the possibility to play European competitions.
  9. Alt+enter for the full screen. The game is slower than the gens version yes. They are only 2 buttons in use for this game. And for the lines, If I remember, you need to press the 2 buttons together to select the line.
  10. What is the exact name of the file you have downloaded from abandoware ?
  11. I checked the link, it works perfectly, and it's the auto install, not the iso... For the joystick I don't know, have you check the option in the game ? For the version from abandonware, it's not installed into your own dosbox, its totally independent, the files are stored here in 7 : C:\Users\"your name"\AppData\Roaming\Abandonware-France\NHL Hockey 95\C\HOCKEY (where "your name" is the name of your personal Windows 7 session) When you install the game, you normally find a shortcut from the game on your desktop...
  12. Fine, so what do we wait ? If no one can participate on this project. I will make it myself. But has I said, don't have much time in the next 6 month. For precisions the swos sytem let you choice the version of the game, the graphics in use, the database in use, and lot of more options. You really need to install it for a test. Really impressive, I think a lot of work have be done for this system.
  13. Darko finished 9th in the regular season... that why I mention him But I'm not taking the final decision. What I know is just that it's better to play a series than a forfeit.
  14. Hey everybody, I have discovered in the past a Sensible Word of Soccer community. What is interesting here, is that they have built an automatic launcher for the game, for The PC version and the Amiga version. http://www.sensiblesoccer.de/community/downloads You can choice, the version of the game, the patch in use, you can play online and the online result are directly uploaded on a database, for competitions and statistics. The emulators in use are not so different that Gens or Fusion. And they use Kaillera too for the online. So my question here is : can't we do the same for the NHL'94 community ? I'm pretty sure we have some programmers here who can built a similar tool. Personally I have the global vision on how the tool works, but my knowledge with some code is too basic, I'm not a programmer. I can learn but unfortunately don't have the time actually. But I can participate. I contacted the SWOS tool programmer 1 year ago, to know if at his point of view a similar tool for NHL'94 was possible. His answer was positive. Are there some volunteer for this project ? I'm pretty sure we can built a similar tool if we put our efforts together. The first good way for me is too ask directly to the SWOS community programmer, for some advice. We can have good credibility if an administrator from NHL'94.com contact him directly.
  15. I'm waiting for some news here. No answer on my PM since the start of the week. Where are you Wittgenstein ? I'm not in an hurry, but 3 weeks for a playoffs series is a lot of time. What I can propose, is a deadline, today 12 pm or tomorrow 12 pm. If Wittgenstein don't show up, it's a forfeit. It's not cool to win by forfeit, so I can play against Darko. He is in France and easy to meet.
  16. Can you upload the rom here, I'm curious about this rom.
