I'm back from a great trip to Lake Louise. Skiing was great, weather was beautiful, and the women's World Cup was awesome. An exciting opening night of The 92 Winter Classic season. Edmonton and Los Angeles split a Home and Home. Game 1 in LA the Kings won 5-4 led by a Tomas Sandstrom Hat Trick. Game 2 in Edmonton saw the Oilers start Grant Fuhr in goal and he was spectacular in leading the Oil to 6-3 victory. Great games Skeletor! Thanks, it was fun making the page. It should be fun. We had our LIVE event yesterday in which we switched from years and years of playing 93 to 92. Everybody loved it. I think we all forgot how great the original was. We were playing with carts on original genesis and 50 inch TV's. I had one game in pool play we had 102 minutes of combined team penalties and 7 fights in a 15 minute game. You saw lots of subs. Which was fun and made me wonder if I should have left the penalties alone for our league. Kelly Buchberger got quite a bit of playing time for my Oilers and even scored a goal. I lost in the Finals 2 games to 1. In the deciding 3rd game I was up 6-5 with like 10 seconds left when Ray Bourque fires a desperation backhand from center ice and Ranford misplays it and he ties it with 2 seconds left. Then he beats me 7-6 in OT. I did win the Tecmo Super Bowl Title.

First Hockey game that I ever saw was at the Omni in Atlanta. November 12, 1972. Atlanta beat the Vancouver Canucks 3-1. My family took me for my eighth birthday. Pat Quinn was one of the Flames best defensemen in their first season. He played with the Flames until 1977 when he retired. Saw him play a ton of games and he was one tough Irishman so of course our family loved him.
